This is inspiring. Blazers should get goons. Lots of goons.
Maybe draft these guys:

Last night, I was told Elleby isn’t a rotation player. Ludicrous.

He is ... if you're a really bad team. He can have good games here and there, but if he's in your top eight or nine, your team is bad.

Wow. Hornets had 3 starters score 20+ tonight and Oubre scored 39 off the bench! Has that ever happened?

If just one of our god damn guards could focus on playmaking for more than one possession in a row it would be revolutionary.

Year after year under Stotts of little discipline or accountability. Just have the guards jack up as many shots as they feel like. Old habits die hard.

Mavs have average guys who can make open 3s from the corner. Norm Powell, who is supposed to be a good shooter, can't do that consistently.

I swear, this guy's numbers are so off from the player I see. He must be perfect from the field and the line when it doesn't matter because he misses a lot of important 3s and foul shots (and open teammates) when the team is in a close game or trying to come back.

8 quick 3pt shots plus some tough defense and we win!

Especially when we're missing some players. That seems to be the signal "OK, they need me to shoot a lot in isolation to carry the Blazers to a 20-point loss."

He was good in Toronto

Just woke up and I see our S5 guards are back. I got Carmelo flashbacks.
Do our best players make us worse?

It did seem like we played with more energy and certainly better defense when CJ was home being a daddy.

Well, between last game and this game we lost RoCo, Nas, and DSJ who happen to be three of our four or five guys that play defense. So, it's not so much that our "best" players make us worse.

Dame probably ain’t coming back this season. Trade or sit Simons like OKC does with Shai. Pull Nurkic too if he plays well. Must get a good pick in draft.

Typical Blazers. They guy shooting the worst, takes the most shots. Most nights it's not Norm filling that role, but he was more than up to the task tonight.

Powell with a team worst +/- again. Nurkic the best.
