• Friday marks the third and final regular season matchup between the Trail Blazers and Grizzlies in 2016-17. It’s the only scheduled contest between these two teams at the Moda Center this season.

• LAST MEETING: Memphis defeated Portland, 88-86, at FedExForum on Dec. 8 after outscoring the Trail Blazers by 10 points in the fourth quarter (27-17). Marc Gasol scored a game-high 36 points on 13-of-24 shooting (4-6 3-PT).

• The Grizzlies are 6-2 against the Trail Blazers at the Moda Center since the start of the 2012-13 season.

• Portland has won two of its past three games against Memphis, but is 5-12 vs. the Grizzlies since the start of the 2012-13 season.

• CJ McCollum has averaged 30.5 points on 55.6% shooting (10-16 3-PT) in two games against the Grizzlies this season. McCollum has scored at least 20 points in five of his past six regular season games against Memphis (three straight).

• Evan Turner recorded a double-double with 15 points (4-9 FG) and 10 rebounds in Portland’s most recent matchup with Memphis on Dec. 8.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 45-35
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 23-16
AT THE GRIZZLIES: Trail Blazers lead, 22-1932

The Grizzlies are a very good team at least their top players (if you consider Randolph as their 1st PF and also VC and Troy Daniels) but listen, the Blazers, if I try to be completely objective, have a really solid rotation, other than the backup guards section which is kind of weak, we have a solid starting lineup and some very good options on the bench. I don't know if this is the ideal rotation but it somehow seems to make more sense. The Grizz as I said are a very strong team, smart, good defensively, well rounded, experienced but they're supposed to be around our level when you look mostly on-paper and not the disappointing 1st half of the season. Should be an interesting game. Go Blazers

Who's going to have the biggest All-Star snub game? CJ, Dame, or Conley?

CJ. I believe that he thinks it's his time. And he's going to show it.

Dame looks gassed and out of it. Not sure if he's going to go off on this team tonight. Perhaps against GS....maybe.

Good start. Plumlee needs to stop shooting jumpers though. And freethrows, lol.
