Neil gets the majority of the blame for this whole season. Until he actually figures out how to maximize his "assets," placing blame on anyone else is pointless

We win as a team and lost as a team... no one to blame. This game is a must win for us. I think they will be without buttler but it doenst change the fact that will be a tough game. Trust our guys for this one, undefeated at Moda this year.

Thank you for your contribution to the forum. These are ALWAYS CLEAN ADONAL FOYLE.

If @HCP even THINKS about making another game thread, we should be at the replay van with torches and pitchforks!

To answer the question, I chose Stotts. Aminu (even though I was CURSING at the beginning regarding that matchup) played solid D against Jokic.

Stotts is to blame for not making sure we got a good last shot.

Possibly no Butler and Crawford is questionable. Should be able to beat a depleted roster and get a measure of revenge for last encounter's blowout.

The two guys that killed us last time are both questionable.

Of course, if we win, the antifans will immediately try to take the wind out of our sails by proclaiming "good thing the other team was missing half of their roster".

BNM

If we lose this game, it wouldn't surprise me. Of course, I'll be rooting for a victory just as much as any other game. But Minnesota is good.

They have a very good starting 5 (all 5 averaging > 12 ppg), but if they are missing both Butler and Crawford that is their leading scorer and their best scorer off the bench.

They rank 27th in bench scoring and dead last in bench minutes (a Thibodeau trademark). Things drop off pretty dramatically after Crawford.

I get that. But two things:

1) this is providing "IF" Butler and Crawford are not playing.

2) ....Denver was missing players too, and look at how that turned out....

The only player missing who is part of DEN's rotation was Millsap and he's been out since November 19. They were not missing their leading scorer or their leading scorer off the bench, let alone both. The game was in DEN, and we still should have won.

Yeah, we got blown out the last time we played MIN, but the time before that we lost in MIN, by 1-point on the final game of a 5-game road trip. MIN was 100% healthy for that game. So, it's not like we can't hang with them even when they are at full strength.

"Should" :rolleyes:

This is going to be a tough game. We need to be on our game tonight.

Poll question.
I said Lillard only because of the time situation. He would have been better off to double pump in the air and take a shot. He's actually fairly accurate when he does it.

The game was lost before the last shot though.
