After that game, our team now climbs to #2 behind only GS for overall 3pt% at 38%. Warriors are at 39.2% overall.

But we are only 22nd in attempts and 19th in makes.

Maybe we need to shoot more?

Supposedly that was one of the things Stotts told the team recently.

And they have been: 31.8 3FGA/G over the last 5 games.

We've also won 4 of those 5 games, most by significant margins. The one game we lost was the only game of the 5 where we attempted fewer than 31 3FGs (25 3FGA against DEN).

What's funny is that alley oop play is just a part of the regular offense. It's not even a play they run for him. It's one of the 4-5 read and react options in the normal "flow" offense.

What was funny to me as I watched those plays last night was thinking back on the comments about how the Blazers shouldn't be interested in Jordan because they don't have guys who can make the alley-oop passes that he needs. Oh, really???

yeah...that CJ pass was horrible....I'm amazed Pat bailed him out with the dunk....Dame's was pretty sweet though

They need to get more creative with it now that they aren't going to surprise anyone. Taj read the first attempt like a comic book.

However, with the motion we already are creating, I think there's room for something like the old Sergio-to-Rudy or Rudy-down-the-lane-to-LMA oops
