No..I don't believe fios is allowed out by me...I recently "upgraded" to optimum fiber which has sucked as now thr cable boxes are all wifi receivers from the modem which is downstairs

Not sure if you’ve looked into it, but hacking a fire stick might be an easier solution then waiting for this situation to be fixed.

ive tried that..used to do that for UFC fights and out of town NFL games, but the app i used on the fire stick went down....you have a replacement one?

I’ll do some research and let you know if I find anything. I live in Florida these days so I can usually watch the games on ESPN+…but I’ve been trying to spare my sanity and not watch the shitshow lol

You can get the fire stick on Amazon Al. Of course, if you start watching the games, you’re just gonna be pissed off like the rest of us lmao.

Oh I have a few firesticks..and they are jailbroken. I had a sports app that I could watch out of town games but that app no longer works.

Download the Gotham app and ask a friend or family member who doesn't have optimum but is in the MSG local market for their cable login credentials. Choose "log in with cable provider" instead of sign up, put in their credentials as your cable provider, and you will be good to go.

The Gotham app STINKS but you will at least get to watch thru the app.

Not exactly. If you log in with cable credentials it costs you nothing at all. You already pay for access to the games through the cable subscription. If you don’t have a cable subscription - or if you have a cable subscription that doesn’t have MSG, like Optimum - you have to pay the subscription fee. But true that you have to watch on whatever device as the app, unless you are advanced enough to AirPlay.
