Game Thread GAME# 49: THUNDER @ BLAZERS - APRIL 3, 2021 - SATURDAY, 7:00, NBCSNW

Did you watch that game? I live in SoCal so I watch a lot of Lakers and Clippers games. First, the Magic played Terrence Ross, Wendell Carter and Otto Porter Jr. These are 3 legit NBA level talent that did not play against Portland. Second, the Clippers did not play Paul George, Serge Ibaka, Marcus Morris, Patrick Beverly and Rajon Rondo. With pretty much their entire starting line-up out, the Clippers were still up by double-digits the majority of the game.

I'll give you that. And the Blazers didn't play Lillard, It was Nurks first game back and CJ's 2nd. It was Powells first game with the team.
The magic are playing with players that are working hard and playing well.
They are not push overs is all I'm saying. The Blazers won the game on the road as they should have. No reason to minimize it.

Another good point as the Lakers have gone 3-4 without them (Actually seems like AD loss has been tough to get by more so that James). They certainly are not the same for sure. But again. The Blazers were without Lillard and as i said above Nurks first game CJ's 2nd and Powell's first as well.
Point Remains. The magic are playing hard and are competing with good teams.

What can we take from the last 24 hours:

1. We're not as good as the Bucks
2. We're better than OKC

I don’t know if a couple games proves anything. If we’re not as good as the Bucks, then we’re better than the Sixers.

Orlando is playing well and they have not added much. They started the exact same players against the Clippers as they did against the Blazers.
I just looked. Would you like me to post it?
They did change to starting Randle against the Pels and didn't dress MCW

Wendell Carter JR and Otto Porter Jr have contributed a LOT to Orlando. Their bench is much better than their starters. Check out the whole boxscore. Not just starters.
