Well here's our early season Achilles heel is our damn bench

Meyers HAS to take and make a healthy number of those. If he doesn't, he's literally worthless.

I am so disappointed in some of you. Evan Turner has played 4.5 games as a trail blazer. You should be ashamed. When he turns things around I'm going to ride you mercilessly.
He's been awful. If he plays better, we'll be happy. Why so defensive of him? He your boyfriend?

The fact we are tied after that quarter is so bad given how well the offense was. This defense is so bad

Outscored 8-3 as soon as Dame went to the bench. And that 3 is a random Meyers 3 pointer.

I don't know how many he can take, seeing as he has one of the slowest shot releases in Blazers' history.

Why does Meyers shoot the ball inside like he's 5'10?

He hasn't. And the fact that you are jumping on him after not even a game is exactly the reason why some players hate playing here.

Yup. Our bench sucks too. Our starters aren't that bad though. We just need slight tweeks to it. Harkless and Aminu can't shoot for shit consistently, if we had steady consistency there we would be even more unstoppable.

Which is why I'm done waiting on his potential. I'll still cheer him on of course, I just no longer view him as a potential "good" player. He just is what he is at this point. A tall guy who plays basketball because he's tall and can walk, talk, and chew bubble gum at the same time. He doesn't seem to really know what he's doing on the court and probably never will. Putting the ball in the hoop is all he knows of the sport.

He can pass

Honestly, we need to play the bench like McMillan would. Slow shit down, tighten up the D.

Almost blasphemous to suggest, I know.

I think I can live with Turner if he can hit that pull up jumper consistently and cut down the stupid live ball turnovers. Maybe hit the open spot up 3 occasionally.
