Love blazers fans falling in love with average bigs while not appreciating the actual good one. Very on brand.

Billups pulling the starters up 14 with 3:00 to go is not something most vet coaches do. Not saying it's a mistake, but the guys who have been in the league for a while seem to remember that one time they pulled the plug a little too quick and are scared.

What are some other examples of this? I haven't noticed this trend.

Not appreciating Sabonis while loving Chris Dudley? Hating Duck, but loving Mark Bryant?

Agreed but gotta balance against what it might do for the confidence of the 3rd stringers.

This is true, but is it correct?

Any time you can get your not so frequently played players time to play the better.

Ideally you’d love to see them prove that he can do that.

Big time clutch move by a young coach, love it… Absolutely love it.

Of course it happens and it looks bad on paper if you Lose, but it’s nice to see him showing trust in the depth of this roster.

This is exactly why I said "I'm not saying it's a mistake" because in general, I think what Billups did is probably the right thing.
