Game 5 Tix on Sale @ 10am tomorrow

Not getting the tickets was fine with me. It was just having me wait an hour 20 to find out they were sold out.

Are you guys kidding? There were just as many scalpers for game one, when they sold to STH. One guy was selling 300 level tickets for 1900 bucks. This is not unique to game five.

The waiting an hour and 20 minutes was just some naivete on your part, or you just trying to prove a point. You should know how selling playoff tickets is going to go, and if it was me, once I got past 10 minutes, if that, I would have been trying in a new screen.

What are you basing this off of?

The number of listing on Stubhub almost double today. Last Monday, I only saw q minor increase in the number of listings.

I was trying to prove a point. That their website sucked. I would have not gotten in through the queue anyways if I tried a new screen. I could have used another computer i guess, but whatever.

There were at least two pages of tickets to game one on stubhub when I checked last week.

I understand.

My point was that there was a dramatic increase in the number of tickets to Game 5 today that happened to be perfectly timed with the fact that there was an online sale. You did not see this type of increase last Monday after the season ticket holders were offered a chance to buy 4 additional tickets.

What is a scalper more likely to do?

1) Buy season tickets strictly for the purpose of selling them.
2) Wait all night in line outside of the Rose Garden.
3) Get on the computer at 10am and buy tickets.

If you don't like scalpers (neither of us do), today was easily the worst format for tickets to be sold.

I understand, and I'm not saying there weren't scalpers screwing people over. I know of one person who bought tickets specifically to sell them. He's not a blazer fan. He doesn't care about the team. He's looking to make a buck. Those are the people who piss me off.

A Blazer fan movement to stop the craigslist scalpers!

Yeah, but if you want to go to the game, what choice do you have?

None really, but I'd rather have buy from the Blazers Resale Center from season ticket holders than these known scalpers on craigslist who bought up all the tickets this morning.
Oh well, I got my four tickets this morning. I just feel bad for the real fans.

like I said before, I got screwed by fuckers on craigslist over the christmas time. I won't buy from there anymore. Stubhub.com baby!

actually i'm looking to see if i have their info still.

Craigslist is chalk full of scams.

nah, it was a dude selling the tickets to a game over christmas time...the NJ game....anyways, I had arranged to meet him up and he just stopped returning my texts/emails. I should have gone more psycho-T on him but ending up sending him a last text that working with him to get these tickets was a bad experience or something not that bad. I am assuming he got a higher offer in the window we agreed on the price and the time to meet (less than 1.5 hours).

Now similiarly shitty types of FUCKERS are online selling these tickets. Seriously, I would pay hundreds of dollars just for the chance to beat these fuckers up in person.
