We have the 7th best defense since Nurk returned.after the OKC game, Portland's defensive rating improved from 117.1 to 116.5. So, they are almost back to where they were at the all-star break before they played a bunch of bottom feeders and go worse on defense
so, 116.5. If they've truly turned around their defense, they should lose much ground over the next two games when they play the 4th and 1st ranked offenses

I heard Powell interviewed an he commented that he know's Stotts offense is a good one for guards! So now were giving Stotts credit for Dame having the ball?
As far as I can tell, RHJ isn't even signed yet. I guess they're waiting till the 2 week deadline to see if there are any better candidates...
Not sure what they’re waiting for as all available players are better than Blevinscould be...the 2 week deadline is Wednesday if my math is right
They won that series in 5 games. I’m sure if they lost it in 5 you would be willing to blame Stotts. Why doesn’t he deserve any credit?Mo and Enes made some shots but CJ was 8 for 19 for 17 points, below his average, so it seems the Thunder could guard him just fine. Dame won this game nearly by himself. Giving any credit to Stotts for that game is just ludicrous, I still remember the look on his face when Dame hit that game-winner, the look of someone whose ass got saved again by the best Blazers in history.
Are you sure? I did not look that up? Could have sworn he hit a few from the corner? Obviously I could be wrong there.By the way, Harkless didn't hit a single 3 that game.
Thanks for the intel.nurk is a muslim and i assume hes gonna fast too
Nurk out again... smh. Should trade him for Vucevic

And no CJ was a problem for them to handle as well. He just missed a few he usually makes. He isn’t missing those this year so far.

Miracle return of Zach CollinsThat is bad news for the Blazers. A win is hard enough against good teams but now no rim protection...
Because you said giving any credit to the coach for that game is ludicrous. They aren’t even in that game without the entire team. So yeah Series. Just my opinion.I don't know why you're talking about the series or this season, I thought we were just talking about that specific game. And no, CJ wasn't a problem for anyone with that stat line. If any player on a Blazers' opponent in the playoffs goes 8-19 for 17 points, I will be thrilled.
Unless the box score on espn is wrong, I am sure. He did go to the line 10 times though which is pretty good.
