3 quarters are all the Blazers need!
The streak lives on: 49 games in and Portland has not produced one comeback win when having a deficit at the end of the 3rd quarter, but on the flip side, they have not lost a game when having a lead at the end of the 3rd.

In other news, the Blazers can still salvage this 3-game trip if they win this one. This is a pivotal game that will be the difference between a good road trip (2-1) or a bad one (1-2).

Against the worst team in the West (and one that has lost 5 in a row), this shouldn't be a tough game, but the Blazers haven't won road games at quite the same rate as they did last season. Blazers were about .500 away from home in 2017-18, but this season they're at about .400.

So if Portland wants to win this game, they will need to put in some work. This is the NBA after all, and the players can't take any team lightly.

That streak is amazing to me. Anyone know what the record is on that? I'd imagine Portland would be close if not already have broken it by now.

What if the third quarter ends in a tie game?

I’m tired of relying on “New York Moe” to show up. He needs to be benched for good and either roll with Layman or find someone better.

People forget Hark was a former lotto pick the Blazers got for a six-pack of Gatoraid. His former team didn't just give him to us out of the goodness of their heart.

He’s been inconsistent his whole career, so I don’t understand why his starting spot is so secure. Yes, when he’s on we’re a better team, but you can say that about a lot of players in the NBA. And I’ve been wanting to break up the Aminu/Harkless pairing for years. Their defense isn’t good enough to make up for the disadvantage they present on the other end.

In my Uber heading to dinner and local Phoenix sports radio is on and they are begging to trade for Mike Conley Jr. saying they wish they could get the 8th seed and squeeze into the playoffs.

They said they don’t care, just tired of always losing. Rather lose in the playoffs than not even make it.

I get the frustration, but in this case it is a bad move. Conley will cost a bundle and will only move them to the ass-end of the lotto when the are currently in a position to draft an impact player. If they were sitting in the 7th or 8th seed and wanted to move up and make some noise in the play-offs - then I'd say go for it.

I really hope he's joking. That would be awful for the Suns.
