Yeah I was pleased. Ran drop with Nurkic and he played it beautifully, while Utah didnt capitalize on the open jumpers out of it.

HOWEVER, if Mitchell starts getting hot hitting the open jumpers itll give him (like he did the first 3 minutes), then we'll need to adjust and start playing up at the point of attack. We wont though.

When you give players an open three, a ton of space in the midrange, and a great lob target on a free run towards the rim, it's a scheme problem.

Nas plays great defense, has a great drive, but misses one three and he's taken out for Melo who immediately bricks a 3 and gets scored on and doesnt rotate under to take away Gobert under the rim.

Terry has always been horrible with Nas. I stopped watching last season when they went Melo ball despite Nas filling in admirably and providing valuable skills that Portland lacks. Terry is shoddy with personnel as much as he is with Xs and Os. A lot of people blame Olshey but I think Terry underserves Olshey's performance
