Claims we had two all-stars two years ago and when asked to provide the names, puts me on ignore.

Probably the smartest move in a while.

You posted this dumbass tweet

WE REPLACED Aminu and Harkless with Roco and Powell. That is literally the only significant roster change. Yet we got worse on defense while claiming our personnel is worse! WHO DO YOU BLAME FOR THAT.

What does that have to do with the MULTIPLE all-stars you were talking about?

wtf. you had multiple all stars two years ago, or are you not reading the shit you post?

it was a question. did we have multiple all stars two yrs ago like that tweet you posted claimed we were? we obviously didnt.

you're just trolling now arent you

We didn't have multiple all-stars and we didn't make the finals. Right in line with everything I've said. You're not going to make the finals (let alone win) with one all-star who is below average height.

Making the WCF was an amazing over-achievement and even then people found a way to spin it as a negative.

It blows my mind when our announcers rave about how great one of our guys is playing because he's getting a lot of good looks, AND MISSING THEM. Can't make a shot, but he's playing great because he's taking (and missing) good shots.

Can't make this shit up.

yes, that’s called propaganda.

That's the logic Stotts gave us when he had Evan Turner chucking 3s and missing them.

A 2nd round pick for a 2 month rental does not cancel out 2 1st round picks for Collins. Not even close, come on.

By far Portland's best chance of obtaining all-star talent is 1st round picks. We've given up 4 1st round picks for 2 players that will never be all-stars. That's killer.

A non-lottery pick has an 8% chance of becoming an all-star. If we had those 4 picks, you can do the math.

I'll take the odds of drafting an all-star with 4 1st round draft picks over the odds of Cov or Collins being an all-star.
Covington and Powell are worth four mid-late firsts. Why do people think Powell is a 2-month rental? That seems like you're trying to make the move worse than it is.

We literally will have all our picks this upcoming off-season with Covington and Powell as well.

What all-star was available last summer that you wanted to trade our picks for?

What's funny is people begged Olshey to trade picks and they also begged for us to go get a guy like RoCo. Then he does it, RoCo is having a career 3pt shooting year, yet it's a bad move?! Crazy.

So, it seems without a true PF, we're a 5-6 seed in the west, top one-third inthe league. I'd prefer we were higher, but I'm enjoying this team for what it is.

It could be so much worse. I love this team. I hope Zach adds the balance so players don't have to continue to play out of position.

Nurk actually looked good. He was one of the only good things about tonight
i was thinking the same, it really looked to me like nurk had his best game of the season

both defensively and offensively... his biggest problem right know is scoring (although it was solid this game), but im confident it will come back once he gets in rhythm

I still feel like the Blazers need to use Powell in the second unit more and go back to DJJ at SF. Seems like the starters in the last two games were where they got beat.
We watched them lose the first quarter vs the Clippers. We watched them lose the third vs the Jazz.
Both quarters Lillard is on the court. Both Quarters Melo comes in and not only shoots poorly but can't stay in front of anyone while Kanter gets abused. There are too many holes in this team right now.
Nurk picking up fouls didn't help at all that game.
I simply cannot see Melo playing in front of Little at this point? We all watched Melo start the season fairly well and he was even in the sixth man talk. It's obvious to me Melo is feeling his age and needs a couple weeks off again maybe even a month.

Gobert with 21 points and 18 rebounds might be something the Blazers should look at.

That loss left a very bad taste.
I watched Lillard quit.
Blazers have very little time to get this right.
Maybe time for the dreaded “Players Only” meeting.

Don’t worry everyone will be drunk on Kool-aid again after we play Detroit next. Stotts is the problem, period.
