A 4-game homestand for Portland starts right now, but what's peculiar is that it will last for 2 whole weeks, and during the middle of this homestand, there will be nearly one week of no games for the Blazers to play. I guess this will give this team plenty of rest and time to heal up.

First up during the homestand is the Atlanta Hawks, another weak Eastern team for the Blazers to beat up on. If the Blazers stay focused and don't slack off, they should get this win.

Attention will paid to the Collins vs. Collins matchup. Both players are the same age, were taken in the 2017 draft, and play the same position, but Zach was taken 9 picks before John. Did Portland pick the correct Collins?

Also, we will get our first look at Trae Young (who was the 5th pick in the 2018 NBA draft). He was the player that was traded for future R.O.Y, Luka Doncic. Pre draft, Young was getting comparisons to Steph Curry. Right now, his play level is not even close to Doncic, much less Steph, but you can say this of most rookies.

And is Vince Carter trying to play for all 30 teams? Why is he on a rebuilding team like the Hawks? I am guessing that they were one of the few teams that offered him money.

Jake just scored 20 points last game, the 2nd time he's done so in the past 4 games. I want to see how he follows up that kind of performance.

Jaylen Adams
DeAndre Bembrey
Danile hamilton
Kevin Huerter
Omari Spellman
Coach Lloyd Pierce

I would consider them no names.
Meh, I disagree. Its not as bad as Pheonix IMO. Bembry has been ballin this year and was a star at St. John's. Spellman was a starter on a national championship winning team at Villanova last year. Adams (and maybe Hamilton) are a two-way guys, so I wouldnt count them.

I honestly can't remember there EVER being a team with so many no name players and coach.

Huh? John Collins, Trae Young, Jeremy Lin, Kent Bazemore, ect. are bigger names than anyone who played against us for the Suns outside of Booker.

Good exchange definitely dope glad I read it.

What would you do if we got all three Carmelo Anthony, Jeremy Lin and Taurean Prince by trade deadline?

Is Prince actually any good ? (honest question)

I mean define good. I think he’s a decent role player. He’s an excellent spot up shooter, which alone should make him attractive to Portland.

3 of the 5 players you listed were 1st round picks, so fans who claim to watch a lot of basketball should know them.

Never said I didn’t “know” who they were. Just said they were no name players. Guys who don’t register, or didn’t realize they stuck with a team. Had never heard of the coach before to be honest.
Wonder how many first rounds picks there have been who people have no clue who they are. Quite a bit I’d think,

C'mon man, that's a bit of a cop out. Omari Spellman was the starting big man for the NCAA Champs last year and a 1st round pick. Once again, if you don't know him you probably don't follow basketball very closely. Kevin Huerter played in the ACC for Maryland and was the 19th pick in this past draft. The Blazers had the 24th pick so people who follow basketball would have known him as a potential pick for the Blazers heading into that draft.
