You're better than this.

Collins shoots 27% from 0-3 ft from the rim for the season. And 16% from 3-10%

That's fucking terrible. Good luck rationalizing that one
Lmao. You're looking at the percentage of FGA's from certain ranges, not his FG% from there.
He's shooting 68% from 0-3ft. Hes only shooting 28% from 3-10ft, but that's on about 20 shots or so (super small sample size).

If he's not finishing though, it's due to his lack of strength, not a lack of touch. He's likely missing open ones because he's trying to rush layups because he knows he's not strong enough to finish through contact. I watched him more than almost anyone on this board. Trust me, he doesn't have a lack of touch.

Boy, I don’t know about you guys but when I watch this team I think “Now THATS a group of guys just one piece away with some added development”.

Sorry I’m still pissed about that Woj report. Won’t even entertain calls for CJ or Collins. Valet lovin mother fucker.
It’s definitely disappointing. We don’t get out of mediocrity without trading cj as much as I hate to do that. Given the contracts that were given out, I feel like we have to trade him. If Neil played it smarter and didn’t do that bullshit, we probably could keep cj and add a 3rd option. Issue is we have nothing of value. So I don’t know what Neil’s plan is but remember he talked big on contegency plans when Lamarcus left. Better have one this off season

Ya I noticed my mistake and deleted. Oops. Those numbers did seem unusually low lol

So if Layman hits a bunch of threes like his first game, we're back in it.

How can you be so shit at your job and still get 41M in 4 years. I don't get it. Luckiest guy in the world

Until Turner, Harkless & Nards are off the books.
Does trading CJ really get this team out of being 1 of 14 teams who are mediocre?

Shoutout to Detroit..they protected home court....get the next one....Go Blazers....

Can we go back to playing a really bad Bulls team without their top 3 scorers please?

Don’t remind me of the worst contract in the league. God damn that move makes Neil look pathetic in hindsight
At least, he's on the court. Meyers gets half of that money sitting on the bench.

I'd honestly consider buying them out and get three D league players for hoots. Their production is wretched.

Be patient guys. We just have to develop more and let the cake bake.

Was there anyone here who thought they actually turned a corner on that winning streak?
Not I...I have been saying since October that the Blazers would be fighting for a 7th or 8th seed and that was before it became evident that some of the West teams that looked good on paper before the season started now look not all that good (Memphis, OKC, Denver, Clippers, etc.). If those teams were as good as most thought before the season started, Blazers would likely be well out of the playoffs now. However, even with those West teams struggling this year, the Blazers are only 2.5 games out of 9th place...not good at all! Blazers just need some major roster upgrades and a few game winning streak against bad teams will not change my mind!

There is literally no incentive for the players to enter into buyout negotiations.

I feel like I have heard this before?? <cough> Connaughton <cough>

Yeah well the baseball player showed he had a place on the court with his hustle and athleticism.
People who couldn't see that last year, where just hating or blind.

However Layman hasn't shown any nba skill. He's a volleyball player.

What are the odds we can get all three off the books this summer? Or the worst ones being turner and Meyers at least? That’s just another year of nothing wasting dames prime years. You gotta wait until the right deal for cj but why hasn’t he at least been made available so teams can offer? I don’t get that.

I don’t even know how Meyers pulled off that robbery to be honest. I think Neil just has too much pride in his picks. Meyers is a g league player. It’s insane

I'm sorry this is funny.

I’m attributing years of mediocrity and Neil’s cowardly fear to make a big move to the overall poor play this season... seriously, we only beat teams when their stars are out, and even then struggle... this team is way worse than record... and that’s stubborn clown still is trying to make Dame and CJ work... we are dead last in assists
I don't know if Olshey is "cowardly" and/or unwilling to make a big move as the Blazers really don't have much to offer (however, Neil did put this team in that position), but I do agree with the rest regarding this team being not that good and many of the wins against good teams came when the other teams star has been out. The Blazers roster is certainly flawed and needs some major improvements...Sad but True!

You say this after every loss but where are you after the wins?

Interesting theory.... actually I hardly post after any loss... or win.... I didn't post after last night's loss. Apparently I forgot to post after EVERY loss. My bad.
