Not really semantics. 'True shooting' was a stat made up to specifically include FT shooting. 9-22 isn't efficient unless you are shooting it well from '3' with volume. His FG% was 41%. Not a HORRIBLE not, but not really efficient either. Because Harden gets 18 FT's on a night when he is 4-18....isn't really efficient to me.

If that is 'semantics', fine. It is also a good amount of brick laying.

Okay.

Can’t believe I’m still typing this because I’ve been typing this for I don’t know how many years now but Aminu and Harkless should never play together. Theyre both damn near liabilities offensively which puts way too much pressure on the other three, one of whom isn’t a shooter himself. Their defense isn’t good enough to make up for it either.

So pick one and put the other one on the second unit or out of the rotation. It’s obvious which one belongs where. Obvious to everyone except the only person that matters.
I've come around to that as well. It sucks because defensively they compliment each other beautifully as versatile defenders at 6'9 who can switch between each other and guard 4 positions.

We need to start Layman and Aminu.

Now we play the Warriors. Another loss.

So if someone drives 10 times and go 1 for 5 from the field and gets to the line the other 5 times and goes 9 for 10 from the line, he's not as efficient as the guy who goes 4 for 10 on those same drives?

The guy who shot "20%" got 11 points off 10 drives, and also put the other team closer to the penalty and potentially got opposing players in foul trouble. Meanwhile the guy who shot "40%" only got 8 points off 10 drives. The first guy is more efficient, and TS% reflects that.

Really surprised you have this take actually...

How is Curry garbage? I think our bench would be better with Curry taking Turner's minutes.
Captain of the SS Curry is going down with the ship. I applaud your commitment and resolve.

LOL...that's what Blazer fans have come to in the Olshey era...arguing gradients of shit

"Gradients of Shit"...that is outstanding!

Okay, Dame got 31 points on 33 shots since we are including FTs. Call me crazy, that just doesn't seem that efficient to me.

Love Dame, but he he didn't have a good shooting night....unless we compare him to CJ.

No team out west are scared of this Blazer team come playoff time. Damn I missed the Jailblazers, they spit and thugs but they win.
That’s what really bothers. Well see if they play different this year

In what world did we start including free throws as shot attempts? When did this start? Did i miss something?

It was in response to someone using shooting stats...that include FT's to determine shooting efficiency.

I understand. I read it. But free throw points are always included without calling it two shots.

Of course they are....but if you have a stat that includes FT's, wouldn't it make sense to at least acknowledge their existence when someone is shooting 40% and that is determined 'efficient' and it's done without many '3's. If it was 9-22 and Dame was say 6-12 from 3-pt land, then yes, that is more efficient. Tonight he was 3-8 so that didn't really help much.

Personally, this was the first time ive ever seen two players on the same team get a triple double. Has that ever happened before?

I can't wait until Harkless, Turner, Meyers are gone. I will celebrate this like Birthday and Christmas together
