Whole team. We did this a couple years ago at Orlando as well. Coach likes to get out on the road a day early and get them acclimated.

That is good to hear. I was wondering about that. With all the new players on the team they could use a couple of practices before this tough stretch. Not sure where the players are flying in from (Bahamas Cabo, Hawaii etc) but they need to be focused and as you said "acclimated" after the break. You often see weird game scores for the first game back. These next 8 could very well be a make or break stretch. I was worried that they would be getting back to Portland tonight, glad to see they are already in NY.

Those authors fucking buried Portland in that article. Fuck the Nets. I hope we kill that team.
No joke, they made us sound like the biggest assholes in the world
What the hell are ya'll talking about? You sound like hyper-sensitive teenage girls...The article barely even mentioned Portland. They did say Portland made a low-ball offer to re-sign Ed, but that's the truth.
Read the entire article....Nobody in Portland ever said that. Utter horseshit.
I did. Again, there was nothing in there to get upset about. I personally think it was fair & accurate. Maybe you don't know what the word "implied" means? Portland's actions (Olshey's actions) definitely implied that Ed's contributions were not valued. The narrative was that they wanted to make room for Collins, who is younger and a better fit for Portland's 'time horizon'. This could definitely be viewed by Ed (and those around him) that Portland thought he was on the downside of his career.
Yeah wtf, how did we "low-ball" him if we didnt even offer him a contract?

The solution is so simple. Just substitute the word "Olshey" for Portland, and it becomes more accurate. The article should have done that too, since Olshey didn't represent what Portland fans wanted.

Cold crisp night here in the NYC. Just got done playing a little 2 on 2 with Dame against some homeless dudes!

C'Mon FAMS..... my screens and rebounds led us to victory!

Those 2 homeless dudes are calling for you, Lillard, and Westbrook! 2 against 3!

Don't forget to show up, or else they don't want to play the other 2 guys!

I obviously know the current break is because of the All star break, but that stretch in early February where it felt like they played one games in 9 days, felt so strange for the middle of the season. I kind of wonder if that contributed to losses? Had to get them out of their rhythm a bit.
I agree. I thought they looked rusty after several of their longer breaks. I have heard players talk before about preferring to stay in a rhythm.

This is a game they need to win. They already lost one they should have won....made up for a bit by the home win against the Warriors. But it they start this post All-Star stretch with a loss to the Nets, I worry about how the rest of the trip will go. They just haven't been very good on the road.

The game that we need to have then Dame and Rodney are questionable and probable...ugh, life of a Blazer fan.

I bet Mr. Dolla' is scared that my dawg Ed Davis is gonna' swat his shit!!!
