Just think Nas as our starter instead of Elleby

And we also would have that Lillard guy and he seems like he might be a legit player in this league. Still mulling that... :P

the more I watch Simons, the less I'm thinking, like I recently did, that Dame/Ant will be a reboot of all the issues with Dame/CJ. I think the addition of Hsrt is big in this equation; and so is Billups

I'm actually looking forward to seeing if the Blazers can make it work

When Wiz is convinced that Ant is real. You know it's real.

When Lillard and Naz come back it's just not going to be fair to other teams

For those who feel conflicted about this beautiful basketball being played and the prospect of getting a pick in this draft I would say, don't. If the Pelicans pick conveys to us and our pick conveys to the Bulls, we'll have one pick to either use or deal on draft night and all of our future picks that we can try to improve the team with as well. At this point we have to be pulling for the playoffs because we're only the tenth pick and I'd rather have all of our future firsts freed up than the tenth pick.

And there's still a lot that has to happen before the Blazers' pick conveys.

This is what you want to see, though. You've got a great culture forming, the players really seem to have great chemistry on and off the court, we've found and are developing a couple of rotation guys and auditioning a couple of others, and we've got resources to add to the mix in the offseason presumably with Dame and Nas back. The is pretty much perfect.

We finally have that second all-star to pair with Dame. Need to get as many athletic wings as possible. Not sure I want Grant at all if he's gonna be a diva and ask for shots. Between Dame/Ant/Nurk/Hart there won't be too many possessions to go around.

We don’t need him, we need Keon Johnson

Excited to see a guy with a vert the same as MJ and right around his height. He also is CRAZY fast like Ja Morant fast. He also seems to have good defensive instincts. It's weird we suddenly have a glut of 2/3's Hart, Johnson, Elleby, and Little. Nice to have that kind of depth where Johnson or Elleby is the 3rd guy.

I hope Dame comes back and plays with this team. Dame has never been selfish and watching this team from bench has to really be eye opening on how to play
Is there a medical reason he can't? Maybe they thought the season was done for.

Honestly, would people here be that mad if we knocked Lebron and the Lakers out of the playoffs in a play in game? Especially if it kept the NOP out of the playoffs?

Billups talked about hating that this team was a counter punching team when the season started.
They are no longer playing that way for sure. They come out and sock whomever they are playing right in the nose and the rest of the game they just keep scrapping.
Got to admit it’s fun to watch.

Good point.

Even if Grant would buy in to his role, he will want a max deal. Would we be better with three wings that can give 100% in 28mpg each? We just might.

Maybe this is low hanging fruit, but you seeing any resemblance to the 2004 Pistons?
Tough D...A different "guy" each night while everybody quietly does their job.
