:reading:OFFICIAL JAZZ'S GAME NOTES
:reading: OFFICIAL BLAZERS' GAME NOTES

• Friday’s game marks the third of four regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and the Jazz during the 2017-18 season.

• LAST MEETING: The Jazz outscored the Trail Blazers in the third quarter, 38-19, on their way to a 115-96 victory at Moda Center on Feb. 11. Donovan Mitchell led Utah with 27 points, six rebounds and two assists while Damian Lillard scored a game-high 39 points (12-25 FG, 2-8 3-PT, 13-13 FT) to go with three rebounds and one assist.

• WINNING WAYS: Since January 1, the Trail Blazers and the Jazz have each won 14 games, tied for the fourth-most in the NBA over that period. The Trail Blazers are the second-best three-point shooting team in the league in the new year (39.3%), while the Jazz are connecting from deep at the fifth-best rate since Jan. 1 (38.0%).

• Damian Lillard has scored 30-plus points in five of his last seven games against the Jazz, including each of the last three meetings. Lillard is averaging 32.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists against Utah in that span.

• CJ McCollum scored 22 points (8-22 FG, 2-5 3-PT, 4-6 FT) to go with three rebounds, four assists and two steals against the Jazz on Feb. 11. McCollum recorded a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds in his last visit to Utah.

• Ed Davis has averaged 7.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.00 blocks in two games against the Jazz this season.

• In two games against the Trail Blazers this season, Donovan Mitchell has averaged 27.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

• Rudy Gobert recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks against Portland on Feb. 11. Gobert has notched a doubledouble in six consecutive games against the Trail Blazers while recording at least two blocks in each of those contests.

• Joe Ingles scored a career-high 24 points (8-12 FG, 6-9 3-PT, 2-2 FT) to go with five rebounds, four assists and two steals against Portland on Feb. 11.

• CONNECTION: Damian Lillard attended Weber State University, located 30 miles outside of Salt Lake City in Ogden, Utah. Weber State retired Lillard’s No. 1 jersey on August 26, 2017.

• CONNECTION: Evan Turner and Utah forward Jae Crowder were teammates on the Boston Celtics from 2014 to 2016.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Jazz lead, 100-93
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 62-30
AT THE JAZZ: Jazz lead, 70-21

Only watched Dame's highlights from the game...probably watched standup comedy on Netflix one night and played ping pong with my son the next

The Blazers record in Utah is not that good. Right now Utah is on an 11 game winning streak. Hope Dame and company break that streak tomorrow.

Watched the celebrity game, Skills contest, three point contest, slam dunk contest, and the allstar game.

After the last time they played the Jazz. Second game of a B2B and 5th game in 7 nights after a east coast road trip i said this game would be a win.
Lets hope i'm right. The Blazers are a better team than the Jazz. I truly believe that.

I only watched the All Star game live. Everything else I watched highlights of on YouTube.

If they can play like they did against golden state, I see no reason to losing to Utah despite how good they have been playing

One of those games you need to win....yet when healthy, the Jazz are a big problem for the Blazers.

The west standings are so tight that every game is a must win. The Blazers are not a shoe in for a playoff seed folks.

I thought their offense would die. Mitchell has really been a godsend to them. Without him, they would have real issues with offense.
Ingles too...he's having a hell of a year shooting from deep

Dame dropped 59 on them and we beat them last year when we were trying to clinch playoffs and they were trying to clinch homecourt.

We need this win tonight. Stotts better be awake for this game.

GO BLAZERS!

First blazer game on psvue.
Lets hope I'm not disappointed by the quality.

Anybody know why Wheels is not on the radio again tonight? I hope he's OK...starting to worry me a bit.
