Big picture, we all knew the first 20ish games were tough. This the first game back from a long road trip and they go back on the road Monday. They don't really have a homestand for a while. They're still on pace to make it out of that at .500. They obviously have a lot of injury concerns right now but the sky isn't falling. Losing big leads sucks, hopefully, Hood's alright and Whiteside not playing was mostly precautionary.

Up 20 with just over 2 minutes to go in the 3rd and to lost in regulation is quite the collapse. Yes, losing Hood hurt but the turnovers and the defense was abyssmal. And CJ's lack of passing to WIDE OPEN teammates over and over and over again is mind boggling.

That is quite the collapse and a game they should have won. Starting 0-2 at home hurts.

When was the last time we started 0-2 at home?

It is tough yes but at least win the home games

Evening went well for 3.6 hours of the Duck game. Was bouncing to the Blazer game during stoppages. Saw the Blazers with an 18 point lead...thought 'they got this'. Had somebody call on the phone I had to answer. Came back to the Blazer game and saw Hood lying on the floor then watched Portland lose

so the Blazers put a little damper on the night but the Duck win was awesome. Win some, choke some

I missed the game, reply to this with your recaps
Blazers had one healthy big in Skal, shot lights out from 3, but they were very sloppy. Dame's incredible. Hood got hurt status TBD. Blazers got up by 19 in the third, but finished the quarter really badly. Skal didn't play much in the 4th quarter and it showed they were just too big and were getting all the rebounds and scoring in the paint at will. The last few seconds were interesting. Simons hit a 3 to go ahead, then a guy from Philly hit a 3 with .4 to win it.

The Blazers storm out to a lead hot from all over including the three. They maintain the lead all the way till the 4th going between 18 and 7. Hood gets injured. Hood gets injured again. 76ers go on an 8-0 run. 44% FT shooter Simmons makes both. Fucking cockroach. Blazers cocktease with fans with a Simons three for the lead, but there is 2.2 seconds left. Of all people Korkmaz hits a shot. It is originally called a two. Officials review to change it to a three. Dame misses wild three with 0.4. Blazers blow it.

There's no excuse for playing Tolliver at the end. Terry is a fool for putting him so high on the pecking order. Not good for the future of the franchise, not good for the current squad, so why does he continue to play a very low quality basketball talent instead of one like Skal with dramatically more suitable skills? Oh confident Terry, you just lost another game.

Korkmaz got wide open at the corner 3 area nearest the inbounder, exactly where you don't want someone shooting the ball. Supposedly Labissiere was positioned so he could stop such a pass but it would have been a lot better if he himself had been standing in the corner. The reason being that Korkmaz's man (lillard) was screened, which is something you would expect.

This season just has a really bad feel to it. Even non serious injuries look more serious out there. Philly was missing it’s best player, playing on the road down big and still won.

And wtf is up with meJ ?? He’s really bad this year somebody on the team needs reel this dude back he’s playing like Mo Williams out there. Just a really creepy start to the season

Very interesting game style wise. Both teams playing very different to each other, neither entirely through choice. Injuries had an impact on games styles, Portland's many injuries impacting more so than Philadelphia's few.

Our three point shooting kept us in it, our lack of centres kept them in it.

If Embiid had been playing, this would have been a blow out.
