One bad period for Canes sunk them. That shift leading up to the 4th goal was amazing to watch, Carolina completely changed the way they had been defending. great cycle and that pinch down the wall by Lindgren....what a move and pass to set up Kreider for the tap in.

As much as we were all very concerned and angry and ripping them and bothered by how they played in game 5 and the first two periods tonight, you have to give this team huge credit for finding a way, that was ultra-impressive. Just a monster win, and now we don't have to worry about an anything can happen game 7.

Huge credit to Igor for pulling a Richter and helping carry us through, goaltending was the biggest difference in this series. Andersen gave us life with a terrible 2nd goal, and we broke the door down. Awesome stuff from Kreider stepping up and owning the front of the net.

One comment on the Staal penalty, you could maybe say weak call, but they also should have gotten a PP right before that for delay of game on the Canes, so it evened out. And most importantly, the Canes, and the guys on TNT (who hate the Rangers), have literally ZERO to complain about. They had 2-0 and 3-1 leads tonight, they had many chances to clinch the game and didn't finish, their goalie allowed a weak ass goal, on and on, so they need to stop the whining, they had every chance and didn't get it done.

And yes, go Bruins. I kind of think the Panthers end it tomorrow night, but hey you never know. Go Bruins!!!

Expecting a Monday or Tuesday ECF start at MSG. If Boston wins game 6, the earliest the ECF would start is Tuesday because the Boston/Florida game 7 would be Sunday.
