:reading:BLAZERS' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES
• Saturday marks the second and final regular season game between the Trail Blazers and Nets in 2016-17.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers defeated the Nets, 129-109, at Barclays Center on Nov. 20. CJ McCollum scored a game-high 33 points (12-19 FG, 6-10 3-PT), while Meyers Leonard notched a double-double with 14 points (4-6 3-PT) and 11 rebounds.

• The Trail Blazers are 6-1 in their last seven meetings with the Nets (won three straight).

• Portland has won three consecutive home games, and is 11-2 in its last 13 games vs. Brooklyn at the Moda Center.

• CJ McCollum has now scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games vs. Brooklyn (33.5 ppg). McCollum is shooting 11-for-17 from beyond the arc during that two-game stretch.

• Damian Lillard’s 18 points scored vs. Brooklyn on Nov. 20 earlier this season snapped a streak of three straight games in which he scored at least 30 points vs. the Nets. Lillard has scored 20+ points in four of his last five contests vs. Brooklyn (29.8 ppg).

• Damian Lillard is averaging 31.0 points (53.1% FG, 6-13 3-PT) and 7.0 asists over his last two home games vs. Brooklyn.

• Meyers Leonard’s 14-point, 11-rebound performance at Brooklyn earlier this season on Nov. 20 marked his second double-double in seven career games vs. the Nets.

• Meyers Leonard’s 15 rebounds at Brooklyn on April 6, 2015 represents a career high. Leonard has hauled in at least 10 rebounds in three of his last five games against the Nets.

• Damian Lillard averaged a team-high 33.5 points on 52.4% shooting, and 7.0 assists in two games against Brooklyn in 2015-16.

• CONNECTION: Portland acquired the draft rights to Pat Connaughton along with Mason Plumlee from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on the night of the 2015 NBA Draft.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 60-23
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 35-6
AT THE NETS: Trail Blazers lead, 25-17

I've had other favorite teams in the past but not this year. I mostly just watch Blazers games. If they were any good, I'd root for Knicks since they are the home team here. My husband likes the Cavs so I sort of root for them. Come playoff time, though, my favorite teams are whoever is playing the Warriors and Spurs. I want KD and Aldridge to lose in spectacular fashion.

I voted yes...if the Blazers aren't playing I love watching the Bucks play. I enjoy watching some teams with ex Blazers once in awhile...now that'll be the Nuggets with Will and Mason or Charlotte with Nico and Brian Roberts.

I dont exclusively have another favorite team to watch besides the Blazers. When it comes to other teams, i'm more intrigued by certain matchups that could potentially make for a good game.

Not living in the US, I usually download replays of the games (sometime I watch a stream but I'm not usually home at the time of the games).
Therefore, since I don't really care about any other team, I don't watch non-Blazers games.
(The only other game I watched last year was game 7 of the finals, live)

Hollis-Jefferson against Vonleh? This is the game to run some plays for Noah. He outweighs him by 30 lbs and should be able to bully him in the post.

Hmm, not a favorite team per say, but pure well played ball..like SA..

as to tonights game...ten wins....really? Have you any pride Nets? This is going to be ugly to watch, being that we like to match our opponent in quality of play, and then give the win away in the last quarter....

I realize Nurk has made me much more excited to watch the team this year. When I'm thinking about the next game I'm thinking "I can't wait to see what Nurk has in store for us tonight", or "I wonder what we are going to see from Nurk tonight".

He has literally breathed life into an otherwise listless rip city. I saw him throwing his arms up encouraging the crowd to make noise the other night too. Hopefully people get behind him and start chanting shit like "feed the beast" or "beast mode" so that he sees what its like when we've really got your back. The crowd has honestly seemed a bit weak to me at times this year. I think Nurk should have gotten crazy applause more often the other night. He was making big plays on both ends multiple times, fans should have been going crazy over it.

I agree....Nurk gives us an identity for a change

We ought to win this one. C'mon...ca656a44f8d72a27ddf8307a4181fec8.jpg

I'm just glad they beat SAC on Wednesday after going 0 for February and losing 16 in a row. Nobody wants to be on the other end of breaking that streak. Teams can sometimes tense up when playing a team on a long losing streak because they know the should win. Hopefully the Blazers will just come out and play their game and get an easy home win.

Thing to watch tonight: Will the Blazers shoot at least .400 from 3-point range for the 6th straight game? They are 5 for 5 in the Nurcik era. Pre-Nurk, their longest streak of at least .400 from 3-point range this season was two games (last done on December 10 and 12). Having that big man down low, who is also a capable and willing passer, really opens things up on the perimeter.

I can't wait to see Nurk make Lopez his little Faberge bitch.

And wow....Lin is still in the league? What happened to "Lin-Sanity" that everyone was raving about 3 years ago?

Lopez seems to kill us. Tonight we should be able to slow him down and stretch out a comfortable lead early.

My level of excitement on game day is definitely much higher since the trade.

wow I found a stream of the blazers broadcast, thats rare

My only concern is if Lopez stays at the 3 and shoots. I don't know if Nurk can get to the 3 and/or back to the paint in time to play Defense.

But if he plays in the paint, then Nurk is going to murder him.

I like Nurkic running the floor

Nurk needs to get that elbow in a little bit more.
