It doesn't make any sense. What do they get from denying him calls? It's every fucking game now even on 50/50 calls.
After watching Derozan and then westbrook, drives me more crazy

I read somewhere that with trading Plumlee for Big Nurk, we have the youngest roster in the league.

Can this be? If not, maybe it was youngest starting lineup....
Sounds right. Our oldest player is Turner and he's like 27. Prob the youngest team we've ever had. The 07-08 team was pretty young too.

Youngest roster. We were already the second youngest before the trade, only Philly was younger. Now we're the youngest with an average age of 24.7, Philly is 24.9, league average is 26.6.

If your wearing a T-shirt with your girls name on it. It means you sure as shit better not get caught.

So maybe there's room to grow and we should be more patient?

This team looks tired and disorganized already. For fuck's sake, it's the 2nd Quarter!

Not sure what Dame is doing out there. 0 on defense and forcing up junk on offense

These long stretches of garbage play make me wonder why Stotts doesn't call time and kick their ass.

If we lose this game.....if we lose to a 10-win team.....that is entirely on Stotts.

Seems like this season has dissolved into... let's try to get Dame and CJ open as much as possible and fuck everything else. Sometimes they have a game plan but when the other team rallies they fold quickly.

This is on dame. Stotts isnt the one driving into 3 guys, throwing it away, and complaining to refs while his man gets a wide open 3.

This has already happened twice

That's about 1/8th of the problem out there. The biggest problem is the general disorganization on the court. And THAT is on Stotts.

Sometimes the Blazers run their offense and sometimes Damian decides to go 1 on 1 and force up a terrible shot. Damian should spend the offseason studying players like John Stockton who picked their moments, got their teammates involved and were highly efficent.

So an entire game in a team sport is on one player if lost? hmmmmm...

Maybe he's too gassed, but we need to run more plays through Nurk. Let him try to hit cutters to the rim.
Agreed.

It would help his stamina out by running it through him more often so he's not getting burnt out running around setting screens on offense.

Young is great for now but long term it seems like most successful team have a good mix with some savy veterans to help win more close games and not have longer losing streaks. And the locker room value is so much more important than potential when it comes to taking the step to elite.

I think this season is just a bump. Dame will probably take some time and realize how to change his game. He's learning his limitations. He know's his ceiling now.

Plus he's shown enough talent and ability that I think he should take some looks away from CJ and Dame. At least half the time either of them think about taking mildly-moderately contested threes they should instead feed Nurkic.
