Thanks NBA for having the most ridiculous schedule in sports; where professional athletes play an exhausting two and a half hour competition 4 times traveling cross country in 4 cities in 5 nights.
Every team has to do this man. To their credit, this scenario happens a lot less often this year than it used to.

Feel like we would have lost this even if we had our legs. As I said this morning, their strengths just highlight our weaknesses.

Well looks like Utah going to lose and Houston in tight game going in the 4th. I knew this would be tough one for us we just had know legs Tonight and that alright we still play hard and got a look the younger kids. Stotts did good job the pulling the starter 6 minute mark to look toward the next game. It really showing big right now we need a 3 scorer in the starting line up. I guess we can look for someone this off season.

Chandler Parsons? Kevin Durant? Demar Derozan?

Not so sure about that. They had them in the first quarter pretty much. They obviously lost energy as the second went on and they came out after half dead.

You say every team has to do this, but it doesn't matter when matchups make whatever system like this inequitable. Playing Boston, a good team, on the 4th game in five nights is a far cry from playing a lesser team in the same scenario. Even if all teams face such a game, there is absolutely no way to make such a game equitable to all teams because of matchups.

Not every team has 4 in 5 nights. A few more than half the leagues teams have it once. We are the rare team that has it twice.

But its stupid either way; I don't want to see an opponent at the Rose Garden who's exhausted. Same as I wouldn't want to see an NBA game with players on one team who couldn't wear shoes or playing with no sleep. Doctors have said the effects of the NBA schedule is physically similar to players being drunk. I want to see two teams both fully rested and playing at their peak so its a display of the top basketball players in the world at their best.

I don't think this game showed anything about what personnel we need; after the first 8 minutes we were a step slow for rebounds, passes, defense, loose balls, basically everything tonight. I was disappointed DameCJ played over 30 minutes; that should've been closer to 25 and possibly could've rested one or both completely. Hopefully the fatigue doesn't start to build up too much this month.

jesus...

our total field goal attempts, 84. Them, 107?

dayum.

ML with 5 turnovers?
Dame with 3 is pretty high for him too.

Gotta admit, somehow the Celtics are a great team. Amazing what can happen when you play some selfless team basketball, huh?

BTW, I've yet to see Pat Connoughton do anything in summer league, pre season, or garbage time. He looks like a bench player on an average college team trying to play in the NBA.

One time this season, he made a jump shot, and I was impressed. Then he missed his next shot, the game ended, and no one except me noticed that he had made a shot.

His sister ain't bad lookin', so I assume the momma ain't either.

Never ever assume that. Bad, bad assumption.

Hats off to Boston they deserved the win - and our guys were gassed. Already a successful road-trip for us anyhow.

* Outhustled in this one, and totally out XandO'ed. Stevens is an excellent coach.
I'm actually jealous of how crisp and tight their execution is - very tight two man play on both sides of the ball. (I hope Terry takes notes)

* Once again shitty reffing from Brothers (Kicked ball, Dame's three should have counted, unbalanced physicality in calls etc)

* Noah needs to learn how to pump fake down low.

* Leonard and Crabbe don't play aggressive or focused enough. I hope we don't sign either to a BIG contract.

* Aminu needs to be smacked on the nose with a newspaper whenever he tries to dribble more than three steps.

When Leonard isn"t hitting his shot, he's really hurting the team with the other (horrible) parts of his game.

Real predictable loss.
Was not upset about that one, our team was tired and Brad Stevens has completely downloaded Stotts' offense.

Too bad the CRaptors are next, don't want to have a losing string now.

Same here... I thought they looked like they were almost running in slow motion at the beginning of the second quarter. There was no energy left and I think a blow out is easier to get over than a close hotly contested loss. I'm disappointed they have to go to Toronto right after but this group bounces back fast, especially physically, and you have to beat the best to be the best. Plus we already guaranteed a .500 road trip with the first 3 wins and that's good for any NBA team.

In a sense its good the Celtics were the team we played at the end of 4 in 5. We very well might have lost to them fully rested.

If it had been the Bulls or Knicks at the end of 4 in 5 it could've changed a game we win into one we lose.

Frazier was at the game last night?

Does anyone think Frazier will be a Blazer again?
