Thunder announcers confused why that was a foul not a jump ball...

"I've never seen that call before"
Hahaha. IDK, maybe because the guy never actually even touched the ball? OKC: LOL

If you go to the Blazers page on ESPN, there isn't a single Blazer highlight from last night. The game recap highlights are literally all Thunder. Not a single Blazer highlight. I swear you'd think they won the game..... I guess getting 58 points is better than winning? :dunno:

It's gonna be funny when layman does finally get his shot, and plays well. I wonder who will be first to jump back on the wagon. Hmm. I wonder.

Crabbe gets pushed into Westbrook and Ft's for OKC. They have gotten SO MANY BS fouls the last two minutes.
That happened three times last night that I saw. OKC screener pushes defender into player, player waits for contact, shoots, free throws. It's like it's a set play.

It probably is. And this is why I hate the NBA.

I know. He had a bad game, but finished with good numbers, and most importantly came through in the clutch. I love this guy.

:cheers:
I was a tad busy during the game, why are some saying he had a bad game? Did he not shoot well last night? HAven't looked at the box score

Mr. Butterfingers, especially in the first quarter nothing was going right for him. He settled down though and got better as the game progressed. Played great in the clutch.

:cheers:

He won that game last night...fuck the stats...when it counted, he delivered with a hook shot and clutch free throws....! Other stuff he did on defense was impressive...great game all around...Aminu just frickin' locked down on D in the 4th qtr...he got several crucial rebounds that kept us afloat and blocked some shots....our defensive improvement is noticeable

Ya, he played awful, early. Turnovers, poor shots, very bad.

Still made a great positive impact on the game, despite being -21 for the game

Just watched the game online. What the heck was the no call on Adams riding the screen out about ten feet to free up Westbrook? I'm not sure I have ever seen a screen move as far as he did. If they aren't going to call that then why are they on the court at the end of the game. I'm sure it is a little bit Westbrook's start, but what the hell.

Last night was the 7th game in a row the team shot at least .400 from 3-point range. Anyone know if that's the longest streak in team history? I just went back and checked and that the longest such streak since Terry Stotts became head coach. Our longest streak this season before the Nurkic trade was 2 games.

Here's our longest streaks over the past five seasons:

2016-17 - Pre-Nurk: 2 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400
2016-17 - Post-Nurk: 7 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400

2015-16: 4 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400
2014-15: 3 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400
2013-14: 4 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400
2012-13: 4 consecutive games of team 3FG% => .400

Pre-Nurk: Team 3FG% => .400 14 times in 55 games, team 3FG% = .359
Post-Nurk: Team 3FG% => .400 7 times in 7 games, team 3FG% = .463

This is the longest such streak in team history. The previous best was 6 games in 1990.

The current streak is tied for 18th best in league history. The league record is 11 games by the Raptors earlier this season.

Cool! Thanks for sharing that.

It does illustrate how much the game has changed. CLE recently set the league record with 25 made 3-pointers in a game. During that 6 game stretch, the team, made a total of 23 3-pointers, and average of 3.83 made 3-pointers per game. During this 7 game streak, the team has made 74 3-pointers, and average of 10.57 made 3-pointers per game.

He was missing and turning the ball over to start both halves. We played our best when Leonard was on the floor. But Stotts trusted Nurkic at the end and he came through.
