That was such a good game; too bad Portland couldn't close the deal, but they did well to make a run against Toronto after being down 16 points, keeping the game close at the end, nearly pulling off an upset on national TV. Portland fought hard and played well overall, but the Raptors were just a little better.

Well, on to the next one. And this one is another morning game for the early birds out there. The loss to the Raptors would be much easier to swallow if the Blazers can finish off this road trip with 2 more wins. Let's get the first one here!

I work at 3 am as well, and I never get use to that awful time. I don't drink anymore, but working at that hour makes me feel like i'm drinking again. Awful on the body, and mind. Especially for the middle aged.

I have not been following the Hornets. Has Nic Batum been playing SG all season long? Or do they move him around a bit on certain covers? The starting unit for the Hornets seems to be a tough matchup. Long defenders that move well.

The first hour and a half is dousing his knside with caffiene and sugar. Then he has to start prepping for the game! :)
I figure prep is extensive and i get needing to probably be ready, what, a good hour before tipoff for pregame interviews and such, but say 2 hours of prep , And an hour prior to tipoff, is only three hours. What else needs to be done for another four hours, or is my prep time frame way off and its more like four or five hours and not two?
Curious topic for me because my band is working on getting our prep and tear down times minimized, so we can start headlining shows instead of opening.

Tell me about it FAMS. I have to be at work at 3am Portland time again. I don’t do good that early in the morning.

(all together now)

That's what she* said!

* self identified - don't hate!

I love the start time. I go to bed early on Sundays. :blush:

I’ve changed my Uber schedule for this game. I went to bed earlier last night and am driving all day today so that I can get to bed early again tonight.

It just messes me up man. Doesn’t matter how much sleep I get. I’m about to shower and try to go to sleep now. Tough when there is a club right across from our hotel that booms til 2am. Just had them bring up some ear plugs. If you see me on here posting past 7pm portland time......kick me off!

Ya, on the road we are at the arena 7 hours before tip. At home 6 hours.
Each city we are in we are in a different TV truck. A lot goes into setting up for a broadcast. Setting up cameras, mics for audio. I sometimes for my pregame highlights and packages in game am dipping into 10 different hard drives I travel. Interviews with players before warmups. Shoot the arrival bus shots.
When you work on a TNT or ESPN broadcast we are there sometimes 12 hours before tip.

Having been in the truck... I can vouch they need all the time. They have hcp working... they need a good hour for him to just get IN the truck.
