One and done. No defensive zone concept at all. If it’s us vs Carolina it’ll be over in 5 max. Vs NJ 6. Just a bunch of perimeter offensive players and lazy defensive players. Oh well. Definitely need to try to figure this out because this has the Hank feel all over again. Stop it. They are making the playoffs. That’s a lock barring one of the most catastrophic collapses ever. But with the moves they made, they should be better than a one and done. There’s just something missing from this team. This team seems to lack real heart and grit. We have goal scorers, but we have no one to go win a board battle. We have no one to do the dirty jobs. Need a balance to win it all and this team lacks that.

I stand by not having Lafreniere in front of the net it’s not his game. But some of us said from day one Lafreniere and Kakko should be on the power-play. That’s how you develop young players.
