This team is so sloppy it’s pathetic. This team is going to look very different next year, including the coach. Goodrow is gone Imo. Chytil as well. He’s played like shit since that hot streak. He’s also terrible on faceoffs and hasn’t gotten better. I thought he might at one point, but it didn’t happen.

I will say one thing, this team sucks in their own zone. It is actually pretty pathetic. If they don't clean that shit up they will get rolled in round one, even I cannot argue against that.

They don't do the simple things. Get the puck out, no they try and fancy it out. Get the puck deep and forecheck, no they try to fancy it in most times. Shoot the puck on goal and good things can happen, no they pass and pass. Very frustrating.

No surprise, first goal Fox actually shot...wow. Second goal Trouba shot. Third goal Kane shot. Not one of those goals was the result of fancy passing plays. But will they learn...unlikely.

Well, thankfully the Habs aren't in the playoff race so giving them (at least) a point doesn't hurt. But against a shitty team who's roster is bereft of talent there is no excuse for not winning this game in regulation. 5 days off and it looked like they had no interest in playing this game. Historically the Rangers are 135 wins below .500 against the Habs so any win against Montreal is a good win, 2 more points. GG switches up the PP and they go 2-4, the Breadman adds 3 more assists and Kane logs his first two points as a Ranger. Time to gather up your petticoats and head for the life boats, the ship is obviously sinking!
