Pistons will be on the 2nd night of a back-to-back and have quite a few injured bench players, so the Blazers have no excuses to lose this one.

The Pistons are tough on any night. They're such a physical team . . .
. . . well except for Blakey. . .

Would like to see CJ have a big game to take the load off of Dame.

Good chance to go 4-2 on this road trip but going to everyone effort to get it done.

Seems like a fairly even match up to me.

Our best players are better than theirs.

The Pistons came into Portland and pummeled the Blazers in their last meeting. The fact is the Pistons are not a good matchup for the Blazers. They have a rebounding and inside scoring machine in Drummond. They play tough defense on the wings and pound the ball inside all game long. They are on the second of a B2B that is true, but the Blazers are on the 6th game of a road trip that does not end anytime soon. The Blazers are essentially on the road for 3 more weeks.
What i am seeing right now with the Blazers is just about every player not named Lillard or CJ having a hard time hitting a shot. This happens in March in the NBA. Even more so when you play game after game out of a suitcase. Vonleh and Aminu have not been the threat they need to make teams pay for doubling Dame. Harkless has not drove hard to the rim in a couple games and Henderson is also starting to feel some effect when you look at his shots. Allen Crabbe seems to be shooting slower and with less confidence. Fouls are starting to mount as the hands and feet get just a tad slower. Meyers was 0-3 from deep last game also. Can they shake the road webs and get some shots to fall early in this game? They better or they are in for a long game.

This is what i'm talking about when i say "IF' they are in playoff position at the end of March then i will be a believer. Fact is every starter on the Pistons is averaging in double figures in scoring. Drummond averages over 15 rebounds a game. That is more than twice what any two Blazers record and three times if you include Meyers. The Pistons will make the Blazers work hard today and if there is a problem hitting outside shots then the Blazers will fall to 3-3 on this trip. going .500 on this trip is not bad however. Cj is finally finding out just how tired a starter in this league gets. This is a game they can get if they have a game from McCollum. I just do not expect another Lillard time 50 point burst to keep them in it.

The good news is they only have 2 games this week. They have a two day turn around against the Wiz and then two more full days off before the Warriors on Friday. Would really love to see them dig deep enough to get a win today. That would set them up for a good game that i hope they don't take for granted against a well rested Wizards team. Can they go 3-0 this week? That would be awesome!

This game today will be a tough one. Go get it Blazers!

The late season fatigue is actually an advantage to us. Drummond is a beast and young enough he could still be a monster on a back to back. Yes the Pistons have 5 starters averaging double figures.

However they have one of the worst benches in the league. We have 5 legit options on our bench. Everyone outside DameCJ is averaging under 30 mpg.

A road game against a .500 opponent isn't a gimmie at any point during the season. They are 18-11 at home while we are 14-18 on the road. I like our chances much more than that tonight.

Go Blazers!

Their front court just slaughters ours. Still hoping for the win to cap this successful road trip.

Well, one quarter of kicking our ass, really.
Point is they won by nearly 20 points and they did it on the Blazers home court when they had 3 days rest. The Pistons locked the Blazers down on a 41-11 4th quarter and a 73-46 second half. They made adjustments and beat the Blazers inside.

Nba Tv? Gotta be freaking kidding me. Ugh

Yeah and the Washington game. So lame the only channel I don't get. I can't find any way to buy it online to stream or anything.

Guess I'll just have to watch from league pass archive in morning.

Ask Sly for free links. He's the host and with no one to ban, has nothing else to do.

Don't we play 4 times this week? Sunday Tuesday, Friday, Saturday....
I agree about the Wiz, I am counting that as a loss. We seldom win the first game back off a long East Coast trip.

Problem isn't finding links. It's that I pay for LP broadband, and these pseudo nationally televised NBA TV games means the games are blacked out online. Makes absolutely 0 sense.

I have the same problem. Have CenturyLink Fiber Optic TV (with Gigabit up/down Internet!) and they don't even offer NBA TV in their channel lineup. Grrrr

Dame is going to go off. I think he is pissed. I think he is going ot have double digits in assists and probably still hit the 30pt mark yet again. He was verbally and noticeably frustrated with the Toronto win even though he acknowledged that it was overall a good game and all that.
I just think he is still going to score like that, but dish the ball more and we will also see 6 players in double digits.

This team is young yes, but they somehow have a vet like mentality that I think they have passed the point in their confidence that this did nothing to it. They know they are good now and are only going to get better, so I think the Blazers and Dame come out will all guns Blazing!!!!!

Go Blazers!!!!

Yeah I didn't understand that either. Unless he just meant weekdays which would be odd.

Exactly; I have no desire to watch a crappy internet stream when I can see in clear HD on a 70" TV tomorrow morning. But it sucks I have to wait.

I want revenge in this game. But 32-246 games is not encouraging.

Some of the links have pretty impressive video quality. I check them out from time to time and impressed at how far live streaming video has come.

I swear I've never seen a team represent a city so much..yet have a stadium so far removed from the city. We're about 30 miles north of big D.

Go Blazers...good to see Mason hit both freebies to start

Vonleh still sucks, can't eve hit a 3 foot shot
