Kings tie a team record for 3-pointers.....of course they do.

I bet @Tince loved the excuse train from Calabro at the end of the game if he was listening.

"This is what happens when you play back-to-back games"

LMAO

Kings with 21 '3's a night after Baynes lit them up. I guess a defensive adjustment is just too much to ask.

Stotts: They just hit their shots

The old Mike Barrett. Like the Blazers are the only team that plays a back-to-back and they have played 60+ games while other teams have only played 40.

kenny atkinson is available.

would be thrilled to see some more mutual decisions on our side from terry/team
Kenny Atkinson didn’t have his 2 SUPERSTARS pretty much all year and just signed a contract extension, yet the Nets didn’t hesistate to part ways.

Yet Stotts-apologists and Neil Olshey will make all the excuses for Stotts. Pathetic.

"The Blazers got the Kings' best shot". So why didn't the Kings get the Blazers best shot? Which team are the Blazers saving that for?

Hopefuly people don't expect people on the Blazers payroll to be unbias, they're going to be disappointed.

Yes, lets try to be more like the Nets, they're a top flight organization!

Very true. Do you think they're the organization Portland should strive to be like?

No....but if it weren't for one TURBBLE GM move, they would have been to the Finals twice AND had Damian Lillard. So not to strive to be like them, but compared to Portland, it's not exactly that lopsided.

lol stepback for a second out of your portland bubble.

they have a valuation of 4 billion, and just drew an all time legend in free agency and a current top 20 player both in their primes. they are in a far better situation than us.

You think their valuation is based of how they've hired and fired coaches and GM's or based on having a population of 21 million people in the area?

I'm not even saying Portland is a better organization, I'm asking if the Nets are the organization we want to model ours after?

the current one???
Hell yeah

a few years ago? No.

Post Jay-Z... easily.

Didn't Jay-Z sell his stake in the Nets a long time ago?

I'm not ripping on the Nets, I'm not saying Portland is way better, I'm just questioning if they're the blueprint of what we want to be. Maybe they are.

Well we are done for season no playoffs for this team. The defense is totally out of sync no one covers for the other guy so you don't have team defense. Dame is not close being 100 percent you can tell on defense because he has no lateral movement. If I was giving percent that groin it is probably 60-70 percent. Melo you get offense game out of him 1 out 3 game and he can't move neither it would be best if he did go back to the Knicks to retire next year. Whiteside is reaction is slow on defense majority of the time and occasionally he gets block and he gets a lot rebounds but it not like other players really really crashing the boards hard on our team so it might be a little over rated. Olshey just can't just can't go in the off season and just say it was due to injuries the reason this season turn out the way it did because there a lot of problems with this team that needed to be fix by next year for us get back in the playoffs.

NBA Finals twice since we have been...
Just 2 years ago that franchise was a mess. No free agents would even think of going there. They recognized this, hired the right front office personnel to clean things up and was able to land 2 of the top free agents of last summer.

I agree, I don't think it's lopsided at all. They wouldn't be on my top 10 to strive to be like either.

Are you sure thats how it happened? Ive heard a bunch of different hypotheticals as to why Kyrie and KD went there. Not at all saying you’re wrong, but most of the “reasons” Ive heard were different ones.

You might be right, but I feel like it's more complex than this. You had two guys that wanted to play together in a big market (something we can't offer). If the Knicks weren't the worst ran franchise in the league, those two might not be in Brooklyn. On top of that, we have yet to see how the move is going to pan out.

Kyrie joined a very nice group in Boston and they got worse (then better after he left). Now, he joined a nice young Nets group, and they got worse. I'm not all in on the Nets like some might be.

Could be a lesser of 2 evils situation between the Knicks and the Nets, but the Nets have the better front office and management between the 2. Sean Marks has done a good job of drafting and acquiring talent that led to them making the playoffs last year.

Ill give you that, nets have done a decent job of drafting a team and finding guys to fill out the roster.

"They just made shots. When the other team scores more points than you, what can you do?" - Stotts after the game
Please don’t quote that dumbass in here - there’s nothing that comes out of his mouth that makes any sense - just typical NBA jargon like “we played hard” or “they made more shots than we did” blah blah blah. At one point I actually liked your post when you said you were rooting for Stotts to succeed. I really wanted to agree with you but I just couldn’t bring myself to root for this clown. Not after 8 years of this shit. I wanted him gone after the first year and was hoping he was just a stop gap until the team hired a qualified coach. Little did I know that Neil’s plan all along was to keep this idiot in the fold. God, I miss Paul Allen. He wouldn’t put up with this shit and probably would’ve encouraged Neil to fire him. If this is what you get with “one of the better coaches in the NBA” like all his fanboys keep telling us, God help us all.
