We can't finish, and it became apparent to me watching tonight that in a big game we're still a two-player team.

We were outhustled. We are good on the boards typically, but in a game with a playoff atmosphere, we got pounded inside.

We missed easy shots. Kanter just doesn't look like the starting-caliber big I thought he'd be. He was so soft and missed so many bunnies.

Just very discouraged after these two games. Very discouraged.

It's because our clutch time offense is pick n roll only. It's so fucking basic. We dont run sets in crunch-time. We ran the same look down the floor every goddamn time.
 
Why werent we trying to free Dame up off the ball? We just ran him into a trap on pick n roll over and over and over again.
 
Kanter playing tells you what Stotts thinks of defense. Not only is he overall flat terrible, he clogs the offense and now Hood and Layman are out of their games just being spot up '3'-pt shooters.

I've been trying to get excited about the Blazers all season long. I was starting to get there during the road trip. But this + MEM is a reminder that beating EC teams - even on the road - doesn't mean shit. The 2nd best EC team would be a borderline PO team in the WC.

I'm sure Kenny & Chuck are regretting their half-time proclamations. As long as this team utilizes Terry and Aminu we'll do nothing.

Our shot selection when we trailed was miserable. CJ needs to start to understand you get no extra points for degree of difficulty.

And we had them in so much foul trouble in the first half and never capitalized. Instead Nurk gets disqualified on a second tech ... he shouldn't have incurred the first one.

But we just don't have the players or the athletes to compete with the top four teams in the West, IMO. OKC exposed us as a slow, soft team. If Dame doesn't play out of his mind we get blown off our home floor.

Exactly. That whole sequence was a fucking joke. And the announcers were fucking idiots as well.
"A Head Butt ?" Fuck you Reggie. Yet the elbow to Nurk's head was a basketball play????? And Nurk big foot tripped Westbrook? so it was ok to shove him in retaliation? This whole game was an absolute joke..... as it usually is when Malloy is officiating.

That literally had no outcome on the game except for the fact that he wasnt in in OT. But with the way we played that OT, he wouldnt have made a difference. Hell, he might've missed a FT and they would've gotten the ball back and it wouldnt have gone to OT. Blaming this loss on him is ridiculous.

The type of offense we ran down the stretch was Stotts saying "Win us the game Dame." I get thatz but maybe free him up off the ball? We have NO ball movement in crunch time. It's also on our perimeter defense for not being able to contain a goddamn dribble drive.

not getting looks. he got scouted, no Turner, and Kanter clogs the paint for his cutting backdoor
