Big-time game here. This one will have huge playoffs ramifications. Blazers, Thunder, and Rockets are all tied with the same record for the third spot in the West, and there are less than 20 games left, heading towards the home stretch of the regular season.

This game will be broadcasted nationally on TNT. Of the 4 previous times Portland has played on TNT this season, they've won 3 of them. Hopefully, TNT is good luck for us.

It may be hard to believe, but this is actually the fifth straight home game in Portland that is nationally televised.
  • Jan. 30 versus Jazz (ESPN)
  • Feb. 5th versus Heat (TNT)
  • Feb. 7th versus Spurs (TNT)
  • Feb. 13 versus Warriors (ESPN)
  • Mar. 7 versus Thunder (TNT)

Home sweet home, or at least I hope. The Blazers have one of the best home records in the entire NBA (they currently have a better home winning percentage than the Warriors), but will the home court and home crowd be enough to lift them to victory.
As they say, the first home game after a long road trip is like playing on the road. No doubt after the 7-game roadie, the Blazers are dead-tired. This game would be a tough proposition against any team, but against one of the West's top teams- and a team that seemingly has figured the Blazers out, it'll be an absolute dogfight, especially since the home-court advantage is mitigated by just coming off a long trip.

The Blazers have a knack for giving away career-highs and they did it yet again last game. 40 points for Conley that resulted in a Blazers loss to end the road trip on a sour note. So which Thunder player goes off tonight? I will guess it won't be Paul George, as he's already scored 37, 36, and 47 against Portland. There's no way he can continue scorching the Blazers like that , can he? We will have to wait and see.

I predicted before that the Blazers will fall to 5th seed and play Houston or OKC in the playoffs.

PG13 averaging 40 ppt against us? I thought pour forwards were supposed to be good defenders. That is WAY over his season average.

He averages 28.6 points per game but raises that almost 30% against the Blazers. That an incredible jump and certainly does not speak well of the defense of our forwards....which is supposedly why Stotts keeps running them out there all season.

We clearly have no way to deal with a healthy PG! We are his bitches. I cannot predict a win...

From the past experience, this team always come out flat after returning home on a very successful road trip. Yep... I can’t predict a win.

That's probably a good thing for us.

If I was a gambler, I would be hard pressed to come up with a reason to put my money on the Blazers in this one.

OKC has also been traveling since the 26th (~4800 miles in 9 days), and have lost 5 of their last 6, including last night in Minnesota. Recent performance suggests that the Blazers are playing better over the past couple weeks than the Thunder are.

Westbrook will shoot another 30 times and won't let George have the ball when it counts. We win!
Every time Russ shots more than 20 times and he's got the ball at end of games, they lose.

So the former HCP didn't muddy the water this time and make a game thread? Nice!

Probably going to win this. PG's been out with shoulder soreness and his last game wasn't stellar. If PG does go off, I predict the concept of doubling will be foreign to us.

If Lillard keeps shooting like shit from 3, no way we can win this game. That being said, Paul George is going to destroy us anyway

First game with us for Enes against a team he knows inside and out...should give him an edge playing his old team

Cj needs to shoot more he’s been north of 40% from 3 since Christmas
