Anyone can have some great stat games (especially Russ). I didn't give Damian's stat line as my reason for saying what I said. Damian likely won't repeat that for a long long time. I was looking at the actual play and seeing that Damian is simply more dominating, able to create better shots for himself, and Russ doesn't look like the same player he was.

If that game didn't show it then I guess I just made a lucky guess, right? Because I hadn't looked at Russ' stats to know he is going downhill.

Russ is averaging a triple double again, and his team is winning he’s looking ok to me...
I watch the games too and while I think Dame is the better player I dont think that game proved anything.
You do and thats fine, but I dont think were gonna see eye to on that. I think we will see eye to eye that we both really like and appreciate Dame.

I have said this many many times. We all have a common bond here. Being fans of the Blazers. It is the foundation of respect for others' opinions in this place if we just keep that in mind.

He is and he's still a great player. But it is telling that he averages a triple-double while only putting up a 20.7 PER. He also pads he stats like nobody else.

I agree he’s a stat padder. I thought Dame and him both played pretty well on Thursday. The 1st quarter I actually thought WB was dominating Dame. Then Dame out played him most of the rest of the way. I think this years WB is in some ways better than the last couple years. Mostly because he seems alright letting PG do his thing.

Anyways Dame really looked good and has been very good this year.
 
Paul George cracks me up. Here is a quote from him after last nights game against the clippers. "It's just bad officiating," George said. "I'm sorry, just bad officiating. We don't get a fair whistle. We haven't gotten a fair whistle all year." Maybe he forgets the 20 FT's he shot the previous night. Maybe he forgets the high elbow he through into Nurks grill the night before.

WB has another go to option who is a much better shooter than he is. WB should be averaging 15/15/8 & PG should be well over 30PPG average.

He really said that after the previous nights game against us? LMAO. There IS truth to the fact that the players can just move onto the next game as if "what have you done for me lately" and its all about the now.

Yeah, they both had great games. Russ shot well and he's still really tough to stop. He has done a much better job of deferring to PG which is why they are doing so well. Damn, imagine we had Paul George... we'd be competing for a title.

I won't try to speak for anybody else, but I have 2 issues.

1) There are times I feel like people are telling me to "eat your shite sandwich and be grateful for it!" Don't question my fandom just because I want the team to get better.
2) There is a profound difference between debate/discussion and just being a contrarian. Just because you don't like or generally agree with another poster you don't need to contradict everything they say!

That annoys me too. I wish everyone would be nicer and more respectful to each other on here. You don't have to agree with them but at least respect their opinion. If you don't respect their opinion than just walk the fuck away instead of trying to insult them over it.

Your recollection is somewhat distorted. But the past is the past and i wake up each day knowing its a new day.

Its the reason i am able to try to have mature conversations with you. Or try to start out as such, as evidenced by this thread convo alone.

If you dont see that and how you take good conversations and derail/stink them up, then thats on you.
Im not perfect but i admit my faults and poor actions. You dont.

No, you refused to clarify yourself and irrationally took it as a lecture, much the same as a child, so i felt your tantrum coming and what do ya know...were in the midst of it.

Your typical tantrum is to try to twist things on the other person when it is plainly clear in this thread alone, you were unable to respond maturely to a mature post and question.

Thats your game and its much the same as a Childs game. Children have tantrums. To me you behave like a child having a tantrum When a discussion doesnt go your way.

In terms of my music, i fucking love it. I love writing, performing and all the work that goes into being a somgwriter/musician. But i HAVE to be critical of myself and my bandmates if i want to reach the level of success im driving for.

Same can go for hobbies and passions. Why cant one be critical of something he/she enjoys/loves????

Listen, I'm all about being positive and have made that stance clear long before you started posting regularly, so don't get me wrong.

However I appreciate the critique immensely. It brings views I may not have seen. Whether I agree or disagree.

For you, it seems that if you don't hear that all is peachy keen and smelling of roses when people discuss the Blazers, then they aren't a fan and should find something else to do.

Why is it so hard to understand that some people learn from each other as they discuss other options not used and how they could potentially be a better call, or a better substitution or what not, than what had transpired in the game?


This is a forum to discuss the Blazers and as much as I love being positive, I totally get the negative too. More people should become more accepting of more than one opinion or stance. Its how we learn and grow.

Peolple learn from discussing. Learning is growth.

You being an actor should full well know how being critical is important to success.
i assume so anyhow, unless you dont critique yourself to become better???

Have to have an open mind to grow.
