I think they’ll try to trade Chytil. I don’t expect them to get much. I’m also starting to think that there’s a good chance they’re going to trade Trouba in the off-season.

Wennberg is great. He is exactly what you need in a 3C, and I hope Drury is factoring him in for next year. He does not light up the scoreboard which should keep his cap number down. Not much on the farm ready to make the jump and you need to prepare for no Chytil.

Roslovic has been a great fit but not sure we burn cap on another wing. Hopefully Berard and Othmann are both on the team next year and they will need minutes. The decision on Roslovic might depend on what happens with Kakko.

zac Jones, major props to this kid. Never one report of him sulking, gets his shot and is playing great hockey. Still not sure I trust him in a playoff series but great to know what we have. Happy for him.

Lafeniere’s skating is off the charts better this year. I don’t know what the hell he did but it worked. I’m really starting to think that he hated Gallant.

We were outplayed against Carolina but Igor bailed the team out. This team is winning a round if they are lucky and then getting bounced. Defensively they are woefully inadequate. Faceoffs we continue to struggle. Two MAJOR areas we struggled last few weeks yet we did nada to improve. But thankfully we got a 3rd C who also can’t win faceoffs and a dman that will never play. Clutch moves by the brainless GM

Tough game tonight, in control until Brod gave them life. Onto to a back-to-back this weekend on national TV, in Pitt and home against the Isles.

I will say this about TB, they are not deep anymore, but they still have some very high-end talent. Reasonable chance they end up as the top WC and play the winner of the Met division, which is why I still say if the Canes do pass the Rangers, it is not the worst thing in the world. I rather play one of the Isles, Flyers, or Caps than TB in round 1 if given the choice.

Honestly, of the final 16 games only four I’d consider tough. Jets, Bruins, Panthers and Avalanche. I’m not saying 12-0 in the others but they should be able to finish strong.
