and which big run, please enlighten me... when Ed Davis checked in, POR was down by 2 and at the time Nurk usually comes back in, we were up by 6

if Ed Davis was playing great with 6:04 to go (6 & 10 at that point), then Nurk was playing even greater (10 & 11) and at that point there was no reason not to bring Nurkic back... youre acting like Ed Davis dominated GSW at that point... thats why Im saying its easy to say he made the right decision now that we won, but at that point, halfway through the 4th quarter, the right choice would be to put Nurk back in

in those 6 min, Nurk could finish the game with lets say 16/15, or 14/14, whatever and we would say he played much better than Ed Davis who would finish the game with 6/10... Im not saying he would, Im saying he could, just as no-one could know Ed Davis will play 6 good minutes till the end

Individual points and rebounds are one thing, but it's about how those stats translate into the team winning. Nurk was a -2 last night. Ed was a +14.

It's the coaches job to recognize the match-ups that are providing a winning +/-. Stotts did the right thing by keeping Ed in. No question.

He has piloted his team to nine straight victories. If the Blazers keep winning, he will certainly be in the running for coach of the month. You picked a really odd time to go on your rant.

Our bench is not shit. They are a huge reason the team has won nine games in a row. Ed Davis is 4th in the entire NBA in offensive rebounding percentage - not just 4th among bench players, 4th among everyone.

Shabazz Napier is 5th in the entire league in steal percentage.

Offensive rebounds and steals == extra possessions and that equates to wins.

Both of those guys are also extremely efficient scorers. Among the rotation players, they are first (Ed) and third (Shabazz) in true shooting percentage. They don't force up bad shots. They do what they do very well.

You don't need to shit all over our bench to try to make your man crush look better. Nurk is a good player and deserves to start, but every sucessful team needs a good bench. We are fortunate to have one. That makes me very happy. It should make you happy, too.

Nurks' numbers are still very good, but Collins has been beasting it lately. His defense has been solid from day 1, and now his offense is coming around. You say he isn't ready to produce on a consistent basis, yet are having a huge meltdown that Nurk isn't getting enough minutes. Well, someone is inconsistent alright, but it's not Zach Collins.

Besides, Collins is taking minutes away from Aminu at the 4 and I consider that a good thing.

I don’t have any proof but from watching the all-star game and the game tonight it appears to me that Dray and Dame might have hit it off during all-star weekend. I hate that if it’s true but it would make sense, they were chatting it up during the all-star game and I saw Dray helping Dame up off the floor tonight and thought it was a little outta character, these comments are very out of character too so maybe he’s a Dame fan? I hate Dray but if he played in pdx I bet he’d be a fan favorite.

This is basically 100% shit I’m assuming in my head but when does Dray ever help opponents up or hype them after a loss?
