Curry has glass ankles. Davis has been injury-prone his entire career. When teams are built around those kinds of players, their fans don’t get to whine about the unfairness of their key players missing games. A player’s propensity to get injured is as much of a statistical factor in deciding to give them a contract as their game stats.

If the Blazers win tonight they are 11 games back of the Warriors and would also own the tiebreaker. Each team would have 16 games left with none against each other. That means if the Blazers win out the Warriors would have to go 5-11 in their last 16 games. I know you think the Warriors are trash but do you think either of those scenarios would play out? For every loss the Blazers have the Warriors would have to do even worse than that.

Stotts said a week or so ago that it was time to separate from the rest of the league in the standings, said it like he knew we were about to secure the three seed and run away with it. He knows the team better than anyone. He knew this was gonna happen? Reminds me of when, midseason 2011, Jason Terry said the Mavs would be the last team standing like he knew it would definitely happen. And in 2014, Duncan said the Spurs would win the title this time so matter of fact like he knew they'd make quick work of the Heat and they did.
