I buried your chew toy in a landfill, bitch.

Great, great game.

Loved the defensive effort.
Loved in intensity.
Loved the game.

That's 2 games in a row with the extra effort. I hope they can keep it up tomorrow. Finishing the road trip 4-1 would be great.

Looks to me like the team is plain having fun playing basketball since Meyers minutes have been limited..Noah is owning the Power Forward spot for the first time in his career.

yep, not a tough choice to make at this point

Silly comment. They played well. They got ahead of a team missing their best player, and put there foot on their throat. Just the way they should have

There you are Brother, and I do agree. Kind of refreshing.

edit: Also , how are you doing? How are the children?

Miami is playing good so it should be a very good game.

At this point we have a winning road trip locked up. With all but two at home I'm pretty confident in our chances.

They had an awesome start and finally rode that lead for the rest of the game. Hasn't happened much and I thought for sure the Hawks would come back to tie it at some point.

Was really happy to see Vonleh be aggressive and assert himself. I really hope we don't give up on him this summer.

Him taking it to the rim and hitting the and one and then bouncing up and clapping got me pumped.

Great road win team. Good to see the development of Noah from game to game. Since Nurk has come in, his game has gone to another level. Now he needs to consolidate and then step up a gear again.

I just watched the game. Haven't read the thread yet. What the fuck?? CJ and Dame play defense now? Harkless and Vonleh are awesome? Our effort is off the charts. We're piling up impressive road wins: Boston, Dallas, San Antonio, and now Atlanta. I hoped for 3 wins on this trip and we got em. A win in Miami would be icing on the cake. Dame playing at All NBA level again. I'm very very happy with the team but we have to keep it up. There is little room for error. Go Rockets tomorrow!

Helped Milsap didn't play, but yeah.

Not sure how much of this game I will catch being that I turn a year older on this date.
Go Blazers.

Hope you had a happy birthday!

I feel like Nurkic might be overrated offensively. He shoots under 50% on all 2s, and has a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Is he really a plus offensively? His OBPM has been a -2 in his time with Portland

Dear God. He has completely transformed our team into one of the best in the league and you're talking OBPM?

I'm happy for it, but it boggles my my mind when I see defenders sprint to close out on Aminu's pump-fake. What, exactly, do you not want out of a 32% 3pt shooter spotting up?

Aminu has shot over 40% from three over the last few weeks. They read the scouting report.

Great, great game.

Great post.

I'm talking about that, along with assist to turnover ratio and scoring efficiency.

What are you talking about? There's no substance to your rebuttal.

Were also not one of the best teams in the league now. We've faced a cupcake schedule and the only good win we have since acquiring him is against the Spurs.

The biggest impact he's brought to this team is rebounding and defense. But I can't ignore the fact that we have on ORTG of 96 when he shoots, and while he has nice passes, he's also averaging 4 turnovers a game, which is pretty damn bad as well.

You ignore the bad, and get mad and call out those who ignore the good. Then I bring up a very valid point and you reply with "Dear God"?

Haha, wherever dude.

You labeled Dallas, a lottery team, as a good road win? You also labeled a win against an average playoff team missing their best player as a good win?

Yet a loss to the bottom dwelling 76ers isn't a bad loss?

I guess we have 31 good wins and 37 good losses.

Great road win. Defense looked much better, derived from the much better effort all around.

For the love of [insert preferred deity here] - I hope both Vonleh and Nurkic hire an Elite big man coach too work with over the off-season.
They both have the tools to become beasts for us in the front court. They just need to learn a few post moves and some veteran tricks.
