Another 2 days of rest on the road before playing the lottery-bound Pelicans, who have lost 4 straight games and whose franchise player is trying to fly the coop.

I expect this to be a win, but there are no easy wins in the NBA. If we truly want to move up in the standings, we can't lose this one.

AD plays 45 minutes and gets a triple double!!!

I’ll take being swept by NO last year but having a better record them this year while they miss the playoffs. NO won the battle. We have had the last laugh.

Have to get this one. SAS will be on a 7 game win streak with a ridiculously good home record when we play em.

What situation would you prefer?

A) We sweep NO last year. Lose in second round. Miss playoffs this year.

B) We get swept last year. We make the playoffs this year.

I take B.

So we're let off the hook for getting swept because their GM sucked and got fired?

They've been playing him 7 minutes in quarters 1-3 for 21 total minutes and then sit him in the 4th.

They will play him more against Portland

I'm saying the GM made horrible decisions prior to him getting fired.

Of course I'd rather be in the playoffs this year and have Dame wanting to stay versus Davis who wants out.
Yeah. GM wasn't all bad though. He refused to trade Davis for garbage. That right there was a good move. I still think Davis may sign the supermax with New Orleans. He said he wanted out because he wanted to go to Lakers. I know he said the other 28 teams are also on his list but I don't buy that.

Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, Rondo, Stephenson, Beasley AND 2 first round picks? I'm not sure I would call that "garbage". I don't think they will get a better offer than that.

Average starter. Overrated.

Can't shoot or stay healthy

No "dog", major medical condition

Near the end

Stephenson,
has been

Never was

AND 2 first round picks?
Worthless if AD/Lebron are any good together.

I'm not sure I would call that "garbage". I don't think they will get a better offer than that.
If they don't get a better offer than that pile, they're better off letting him walk for nothing.

Actually, simply by waiting and doing a similar trade they could now get a lottery pick from the Lakers this year instead of the pick being around #20 if they had AD before conveying the pick. They've also gotten more data on both Ball and Ingram who have major injury concerns. Kuzma has proven to be overrated as well.

There will be better offers this summer.

No Jrue tomorrow I just heard? That good. Is it just me, or do we tend to play teams when they are missing key players?

Moe is one thing but the one that kind of worries me is that curry "Upper Respiratory". That usually means Head Cold or Cough. Which we all know means the entire team could now go through being sick. Not a good time for that.

Curry sat back with us media guys on the flight here today. They quarantined him! Better for US to get sick than Dame!
