They're also going to have to get up for Toronto and Utah. Also, I'm pretty sure Boston, Golden State and Houston are considered plum teams to beat.

And then there's Memphis. Who wants to be the team that ends Memphis' streak?
Ain't that the truth.

Agree. My daughter mentioned that the other day. Patience , development, and chemistry paying off.

Sign you daughter up for the coaching staff. You can tell her I said that.

This felt like the first win in a while where Dame wasn’t the main catalyst behind putting someone away or spearheading a comeback. I’m glad the rest of the crew stepped it up when needed and gutted out what could have been a nasty comeback by the Cavs.

Patty had some clutch plays on both sides of the ball that deserve some attention. Hitting that deep three and stripping LeBron were some great momentum plays that stood out to me tonight.

Kevin McHale just said the only reason we are 3rd is because of the injuries to San Antonio and the trades the Clippers made or both would be in front of us. Then he said we might be 3rd but it’s a very distant 3rd. What a piece of SHIT!

He also made some really good hard cuts that forced the defense to cover him and leave others open.

He doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Injuries are part of the NBA and Portland has had plenty of them. Yes they've benefited from other teams missing top players but Portland's injury history is 2nd to none so I'll take it. He needs to keep things in perspective.

As for the 2nd part, he is right. Even with an 11 game winning streak, they are only 4.5 games up on the #10 seed while being 10 games back of the #2 seed.

Someone should tell him the shot came against his team's loss...just sayin'...it must hurt McHale everytime Lillard taps his wrist

He also said Minny would beat us in a 3/6 matchup. Only way we could when is if Dame and CJ both had exceptional games at the same time 4 games in the series. I didn’t think he was so fucking stupid.

It's the way we've gotten to third though and we're pulling away. The way we're playing now is close to the level the top teams have played this year.

Every time he sees a hole in the ground he thinks it's his ass.

That's not fair to our players and frankly, just not true. Fuck him.

Great thing about this game is that this time none of our star players really had an amazing night - CJ and Dame were good but their shooting was not above par at all, especially Dame's, and Nurkic was just decent, yet we still won the game comfortably against a team that had LeBron performing at the very top level.

Games like this are even more impressive than the times we beat teams on the back of 30+ nights from both guards and a 20 & 15 from Nurkic. It looks like the team has turned the corner and is buzzing with confidence right now.

Yep. It's like we can't lose. It's been great.

Reminds me when in summer 2015, Clippers TV guys said we had no chance at playoffs and then we eliminated them.
Weren't they missing their two best players? Just checking. Thought you might have mentioned that so people get the full story. Instead of some twisted fantasyland version.

I'm just amazed with the turn around in our ball club. To compare the way we're playing now vs last year and the first half of this year, it's confounding, to me at least because I didn't think they had it in them. Props to every player and coach on the team, who probably all deserve equal credit. Stotts, in his 6 years here, now has coached two completely different Blazer teams to just a step below the elite 3-4 teams the NBA generates every year. That's pretty damn impressive. They're now playing his brand of basketball with ball movement, smart passing, efficient balance of three point and fastbreak scoring, contributions up and down the lineup. Blazers are finally a joy to watch again.
