What should the Blazers do to address their sudden lack of bigs?

This loss is going to be so stupid at the end of the year when we're fighting for homecourt.

Homecourt? Not even sure we will make the playoffs. If we do it’s 6-8 seed range. No way we can finish over either LA team or Denver, and most likely not Houston or Utah either.

I give the warriors all the credit this game. The Blazers need sole searching for there self.

We will get better, we will. Give this team 25-30 games before judging too harshly. We are missing two defensive anchors too.

I agree we'll get better. I'm concerned we won't get enough better, and we might have dug ourselves too big a hole to make the playoffs by then.

And, again, we knew we were going to be missing one of our defensive anchors already going into this year. We had roster spots to address it and there still are guys who aren't on teams that would seem to have filled it better than the guys we picked up.

We've left our frontcourt shorthanded for not understandable reason.

CJ just went to the bank and cash his $$$ and drunk more wine... smh

I really thought the chemistry issues were being overstated. Bazemore always was a good role player. Whiteside was being fit into a role he's always filled. Etc.

But this team, despite better talent than the last couple of years, doesn't work well together for whatever reason. It might be lack of familiarity, but it doesn't feel like that.

The other thing that hurts us was wasting a roster spot on Pau when Nurk was hurt and we weren't 100 percent sure of what Hassan would give us. We needed a healthy, decent big who we could count on to be able to play and at least hold his own defensively. Maybe you sign one of Tolliver and Pau, but no way do you bring in both, and probably not either.

Better talent? We lost Curry, Aminu, Harkkess. We got Whitside + garbage.

I know it's just 1 loss but this may be the most embarrassing loss I have ever seen.

I hope this wakes this team up. Something needs to.

No one is taking CJ and his contract, not right now anyway.

We're at least 3 years away from anyone considering to take it on. Olshey bid against himself and gave CJ the kitchen sink and CJ was smart to jump on it.

You think any of those 4 are quality starting NBA forwards? Stotts was AWFUL tonight, along with mostly everyone else. To only blame Stotts would be crazy.

Everyone was saying that Hood and Bazemore were upgrades over Aminu and Harkless.

On a positive note this is absolutely 100% embarrassing for the team. All of them. Top to bottom. There is undoubtedly some motivation there going forward.
One would hope, but I’m not sure this team is ever going to be as good as we thought.

Very true. All involved (minus Dame) should be ashamed and I suspect many of them will be.
