pasta is guaranteeing victory in game 7, will be on back of all local newspapers tomorrrow.

I don't think they have ever lost a game seven on home ice so they have that going for them.

3-1 W tomorrow. Hank will have a great game. Nash wont score but his line will play well

I'm a little less confident. Hank has been mediocre all series. Nash has been invisible. The streak of winning game sevens at home has to end some time, it might as well be with this horribly inconsistent underachieving team.

If it's anybody who puts us on their back tomorrow and leads us to victory, I'd expect it to be St. Louis. He didn't demand to be traded here to go out like this.

I admit its hard to be confident after a pathetic overall performance like tonight....But although inconsistent, this team is resilient.

I think we will get it done tomorrow and Mason will come back to earth

McDonagh needs to get his game together for tomorrow night also. We kill Nash, but McD has struggled also. And before we say he isn't 100%, I say I don't buy it because if he wasn't would AV have him on the PP...doubt it.

I gave him game 1, but since then it hasn't gotten much better. He needs to stepup tomorrow night.

Game seven is when you need your top guys.

Yes...

And I still think that Pouliot penalty was the turning point (and then the awful pass by Girardi on the PK).

And BTW...0-20 on the PP. We MUST get a PPG tomorrow night if we are to win. And win some mother f'ing faceoffs.

McDonagh is CLEARLY not himself. But McDonagh at 75% is still a better than most of our defensemen...

Typically Game 7 hero's are not top line guys. We just need to win tomorrow

I'm confidant. This is what this team is. Play balls out one game then not so much the next. I agree the moronic Pouliot penalty really changed things. I'm with you Pasta. A definite win tomorrow.

I like the confidence from everyone. Lets do this. Where's Popodoc??? He is doing a MC battle with Rabbit right now

All I know is if McDonagh was hurt I very seriously doubt he would be on the 1st PP. He wouldn't be if he couldn't shoot...

It's tough to know if he's hurting. Just not the same since the injury.

I agree, but I am sure he is shooting well in practice or he would not be on the PP...just wouldn't. Could be mental also due to the shoulder. Never know. 100% but mental.

Whatever, Philly came through and held serve, at least we have another shot, theyre right in their element.

I see rangers coming out flying again tmo and only difference is they put up a bunch of goals early as after the first one mason starts flopping all over the place. Nash I believe will come up big for if he doesn't and rangers lose he should be on the first trade out of here. Need hank to play like one of the top 3 goalies and the so called first pair defense who have been anything but to play up to their reputation. I guess anything is possible but I don't see the rangers letting this opportunity slip by and coming up with a 5-2 victory and moving on to play the pens. Have to admit I wouldn't mind Kreider pulling a willis reed and skating onto the ice to start the game and splattering simmonds mug on the nearest boards. Only thinking positive thoughts on tmo's game and defeat is not an option.

They need to get back to the forecheck which means getting pucks in and on the defensive end keep Simmonds et al from sitting in front for putbacks.

This game is why they needed the 2 seed. Rangers are a great road team but you have to play this at the Garden.

They find a way tomorrow

While we're pointing fingers at the usual suspects, how about AV? Joe Mich has been beating a dead horse about Philly's adjustments on the PK after the first two games and AV has yet to counter adjust the Rangers PP. They are back to the old PP style: floundering around the perimeter without shooting and holding the puck behind their own net for 15-20 seconds before a futile 1 on 3 rush up ice. I do like Miller in the lineup, he should have been up all year. Now if only AV could see the light with McIlrath.

The guy who has really sucked the most is Brassard, he was a stud in last year's playoffs but now Derek looks like he doesn't even want to be on the ice. Although he's been equally ineffective I thought the Pouliot penalty was baloney, Giroux instigated the contact and then flopped. The refs should have either let it go or sent them both to the box but apparently it's only the Rangers who embellish and Philly has cleaned up their act postseason despite being the second most penalized team in the NHL. I give Philly credit for capitalizing on the PP but the officiating sucked tonight.

Ridiculous to give up on this team at this point, they are what they are and will always make things as difficult as possible on themselves. Big win at home is more enjoyable for the fans anyway. Let's Go Rangers!

I think they should go back to Carcillo who's effective against a team like Philly. Maybe even keep Miller and take out Dorsett. And i know its unlikely but Diaz is better than Moore on the offensive end.

the only way we are going to win is if hank plays better then mason, im so tired of everybody blaming nash but lundy is the reason why we are losing this series. he needs to play better, he is "ONE OF THE BEST" of the league play like it, ive said it before and ill say it again, he sits too far back again, scared to be aggressive, even when playing the puck with his stick.

in AV system hank needs to adjust, you can't sit back all the time, be aggressive

With about 4 minutes left in the game, the cameras showed MSL slumped over the bench. He looked up at the clock and then had this look on his face that said, what the hell did I sign up for. I just wonder if he feels comfortable to lay into this team yet. That look he had said he wants to. I wonder if he goes to BK and says let him speak to the team. The ride home would have been the perfect time to do it.

All you guys have great points. On the whole, everyone needs to better.
Sleeps, I still find it hard to fault Hank for last night, but agree with you he hasn't been great. We need his A game tonight.

71, agree on Carcillo. He should have never been taken out, but I would sit Miller. Makes too many mistakes.

Panzer, good point on AV. I've been screaming for 2 games about the PP. Philly is standing them up at the blue line. Dump it softly to the corners and time it with 2 guys already at full speed going for it so they can get control. Usually their dump ins are hap hazard and ill timed.

papadoc, I didn't see the St. Louis reaction. Agree it's time for him to try to take charge.

I'm with you Dis. They find a way tonight. Neither team is great, probably why they take turns winning and losing. Five minutes in, last night is a distant memory. Very confidant they fire hard and win. Let's Go Rangers!

Agreed 62, id sit Miller, he's got a future but they can't have him in there right now.

I hate to state the obvious but scoring the first goal will be key tonight. Going down 1-0 will seem like 3-0 in a game like this.

As a flyer fan I actually thought the rangers would win in 6, glad I was wrong. I thought the ranger forecheck would have the flyers in trouble, and it has at times. I'm still not sure if the flyers surge last night was because they turned it up a bit, or the rangers dialed it down a bit (which I thought the flyers did in game 5). I don't like the flyers chances at the garden, but I think it will be one of those games that comes down to the wire, possibly overtime. I see the rangers coming out of the gate very strong, and if the flyers can hold off that first 10 minutes it will be close. Sucks, I teach till 8 and have a 45 min. drive back to NJ, maybe I'll end at 7:30 and get back home for the 2nd period. Good luck to you guys anyway, if the rangers win I'll certainly root for them against pukesburgh. Cheers!
