Our "role players" have just been amazing. One night it is Mo, another night it is Chief. Another night it is Nurk.. Another night it is Ed and/or Zach. And another night it could be Pat and/or ET. Scotts knows who is hot. The team knows who is hot. And we just ride the hot hand. In between, Dame and CJ continue to remain consistent in the 20s, or go for 30, 40 or 50 if needed.
But oh boy, do I hate Chris Paul !!! I just want to slap Houston in the face on Tuesday night.

Those are all plus defenders imo, and you add Lillard and Mccollums defensive improvement, that’s tough.

That was an impressive win. Pretty much controlled the game from beginning to end. I haven't watched all the games this year, but I don't recall one where we got such great contributions 1-10. Everyone played well and played up to their role. Front court was awesome. Nurk, Mo, Aminu played great. Damn, these guys got some swagger going. If we can carry this into the playoffs....it's all about momentum in sports

Just watched the replay. Best game of the season if we look the whole team. Great effort aand team basketball. If we play like this tomorrow, it's gonna be a fun night.

This was our 3rd game in 4 nights, and the second of a home road back to back. If there ever was a schedule loss, this was it. Dame looks a bit worn the last few games but everyone else is stepping up. Ridiculous win streak.

So glad these dudes can rest after the HOU game.

Dame cooling off was inevitable. Nice to see we have still played ok while he has, because there was no way he could have kept up that unbelievable 3 pt shooting pace.

I think that the thing I like most about Dame is that he's more than happy to take a step back when his teammates take a step up. The Blazers have been getting contributions across the board from the role players, so arcade mode Dame hasn't been necessary. I have no doubt that it will be necessary in the next three or four games. I have even less doubt that Arcade Dame will show up.

He's a backup. He's always gonna be a backup. The Blazers have a backup that can come in on a moments notice that has played with all the starters and knows the team. That is worth something. He can also shoot the ball. If the Blazers have a center go down for 3-4 games they will be very happy they have Meyers Leonard.

Leonard has gotten better and better but the progress is painfully slow. While he takes shots with an opponent close to him he is still very hesitant to shoot unless he is wide open. On the flip side, he seems like he is getting more and more rebounds while staying a bit closer to the basket.

Like I say, his progress is quite slow but it is noticeable.

No doubt. 40ppg Dame would certainly make winning these next games a little more likely.

Okay, there is obviously some sort of irrational hatred of him as a person. Not one player in the history of the NBA is perfect and doesn't need to improve. Why turn it into a country thing?

I think it’s more of him not NEEDING to bring like he has so many times before. As long as his sidekicks keep producing he will only need to get into DameTime mode in case of emergency.
