I dont even want to think about that possession. Still hurts. Stotts has no control over this team.

BUT MELO FOR NURK WHEN WE ARE UP 1 IS SO GOD DAMN STUPID. Ugggggh.

That sub had no bearing on the game. Nurk/Melo were not involved and Powell fouled him either way.

I'm not really worried about seeding, as long as we avoid the play in. If you look at 1-8, the matchups don't necessarily look easier the further up you go.

Dallas will be the 5th seed and we tied with Lakers and get the 6th seed (hopefully Denver rest their players) then sweep by the Clippers

Unbelievable that Stotts challenged that call. There is NO WAY it was going to be changed. All Powell they have to do in the replay is see Powell making any contact (which he did twice) and it will stand as called.

HORRIBLE (emotional....I hope it gets changed) decision.

To not at least sub Nurk in during the final FT's so he could be the inbounder was another Stotts brain fart.

Despite a valiant fourth quarter performance by Dame, the Blazers suffer a heartbreaking loss against the Suns. The Blazers Uprise Postgame Show will breakdown what happened.

God that loss just left such a terrible taste in my mouth. Utter stupidity in the last 5 seconds cost us the game.

No reason to worry about seeding. This game proves we are still bad against good teams. The only team I could realistically see us beating in the top 4 is Denver, but even that doesn't have much of a chance of happening.

Do you think Booker still drives knowing nurk is in there?

He did the whole game, why would he not? The play was clearly for him to drive, and he didn't even go to the rim, instead pulled up for a long two. Powell should never have fouled him. Hand in the cookie jar.

The challenge was the worst part. Also RoCo missing two free throws. Also inbounding to RoCo in the fucking first place. It was clear they went that route because he was the easiest player to inbound to.

some of you say it wasn't a foul and some say he should never have challenged it.
In live-action, it was even harder o see. I think the challenge was the right call.

No it wasn't. Refs were out to get us tonight. It wasn't even really a foul and should have been a successful challenge. It weak ass shit. By challenging it we played I to the refs hands and allowed them to decide the game. Never allow the refs to decide a game.

Fuck I hate the clippers too worst possible matchup. I guess a quick series will speed the needed changes. Sad loss

We lost by 1 point on the 2nd of a back to back come on

That was a bummer.

1:04 shooting foul on Nurk
0:49 CJ misses wide open floater
0:45 foul (80ft from the basket) on CJ
0:32 shooting foul on Nurk
0:05 Roco misses BOTH free throws
0:02 shooting foul on Powell

The guys had a chance to lock this win up, but failed to execute 6 times in the last minute.

There are now 3 teams that are really excited about tonights results.

The Suns because duh.

The Mavs because they're getting the 5th seed.

The Lakers because it improved their chances of winning the 6th seed.

There are 3 teams that are pissed about tonights results.

The Blazers because duh.

The Clippers because they now might face the Lakers in the first round instead of Portland

The Nuggets because they now face the Mavs in the 1st round instead of Portland.

Lol at people arguing the Powell call. His arm was on Booker's hip and he even tapped Bookers arm going up. I know in most situations they don't call that with the game on the line, but expecting the refs to overturn that call when it was already called is just....lol.

I'm not gonna deny all that.

Like I said earlier, worst 4.4 seconds of stotts career - again, that's saying something.

Roco is a career 80%+ free throw shooter. He choked.

Ok and? What is our record against top teams this year, especially those in the west? Our defense is putrid and while Dame is always amazing in the playoffs, teams still put all there focus on stopping him and dare the others to beat them, and almost always they never do. Dame and CJ can't do it alone.

This is just inexcusable for the playoffs.

Couple that with dumb out of bounds plays, subs, and the putrid defense...... its just a recipe for a painful playoff series.

It was a pretty weak call.....they normally let that go in the closing seconds. However, Powell did have his right arm riding Booker's left side as he drove and then reached through and hit his elbow on the shot. It wasn't a lot of contact but enough that Stotts should have NEVER challenged it.

This all but guarantee's play ins or Clippers. Clippers is a first round exit in 5. But I guess that's not terrible because it guarantee's that Stotts is also out the door.

Clippers would demolish us dude it wouldn’t be close

Was it a foul? Yes.

Should it have been called on the last shot of the game? Nope.
