It's very rare that I ever get excited about opponents scoring on us, that Barton play off the inbound was excellent.

Yeah, they're not going to lose Afflalo, especially with Wesley's uncertainty.

You don't know that Afflalo won't sign somewhere else. Another team might want to pay him a lot more than we are willing to offer. He's not exactly playing lights out for us so far. If anything, he's proven how valuable Wesley was for us. Portland will resign Wesley, and with CJ playing well, Afflalo could be the odd man out.

Afflalo has done really damn well.

I agree. I don't know much more you want from the guy but he's doing pretty damn good imo. Besides he wasn't even brought here to be a starter but he's holding that spot as well as you can expect

Barton is a FA. If you like him, then sign him. Everyone they traded for AAA other than the draft pick was a free agent. It was a fairly low risk trade.

Thanks.

Haven't seen that in a while. I remember Payton did that in a Beavers game way back.

Not really. 44% from 2, 38% from 3. That's barely mediocre. He has a negative assist to turnover ratio. And the defense has been markedly worse since he replaced Wes.

38% from 3 is hardly mediocre

lol. Yet, we've barely lost a step in the standings with him as our starter.

Water your lawn, it's not green enough.

Didn't a Blazer do that once? I want to say Rod Strickland or Andre Miller...
Now that you mention it I think Andre may have done it. Maybe both, IDK. It certainly seems within character for both of them.

Sabas could have done it, but he wasn't mobile enough to get inbounds in time :ghoti:

I'm trying to phase out grass to a ground cover that doesn't need to be watered.

What's funny is Wes shot .448/.388 this season. Wes is the better defender on stronger guards/forwards, but AAA is a better defender on players like Harden.

Wes shot 53.4% from 2pt range, is is 10% points higher than Afflalo.

I like that we have AAA, I really wanted him, and he's had a couple of good games, just so far, has had a lot of forgettable games.
