:reading: OFFICIAL BLAZERS' GAME NOTES
• Saturday marks the second and final regular season matchup between the Trail Blazers and 76ers in 2015-16.

• LAST MEETING: Philadelphia defeated Portland, 114-89, at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 16. Jahlil Okafor finished with game-highs in points (25) and rebounds (10).

• No Trail Blazer scored more than 14 points at Philadelphia on Jan. 16. Portland’s 5-of-29 mark from the three-point line against the 76ers represents its lowest shooting percentage from three this season (.172).

• The Trail Blazers have won six of their past nine games against the 76ers.

• Portland has won four of its past five games against the 76ers at the Moda Center.

• With a win, the 76ers would secure their first season sweep over Portland since the 2008-09 season (2-0).

• Mason Plumlee scored 12 points against the 76ers on Jan. 16, and has now scored in double figures in three of his past four games against Philadelphia (12.8 pts).

• Gerald Henderson has scored at least 10 points in nine of his past 12 games against the 76ers.

• The Trail Blazers are ranked sixth in the NBA in scoring at 104.5 points per game, while the 76ers are last in the league in scoring (96.9 ppg). Portland is 19-5 this season when limiting its opponents to less than 100 points.

• Portland is ranked fifth in the NBA in rebounding (45.6 rpg), while Philadelphia is 29th in the league in rebounds per game (41.2).

• The 76ers have lost 11 consecutive away games, while the Trail Blazers are 14-3 in their past 17 games at the Moda Center.

• Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless was drafted 15th overall by Philadelphia in the 2012 NBA Draft.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: 76ers lead, 56-50
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 33-21
AT THE 76ers: 76ers lead, 35-17

Looking forward to this one. Gotta return to our winning ways.

Sixers logo = Bad

Looks like a Scooby Doo character.

Sixers logo looks like a cheeky lad who would intentionally play poorly to tank a season. It's like he's saying "Hey Silver, Just try and stop me".

Starters sit the fourth quarter.

I'm a huge Ben Franklin fan as well as a C note fan. Poor Richards Almanac was required reading when I was a kid. The guy ran his printing biz from 4AM to 10AM and outproduced all his competition, leaving the day from 10 in the morning on to pursue kite flying, languages, science, invention, pleasure or just go fishing...pretty bright guy! I remember reading in his almanac that getting up before the sun and studying for a test enabled him to retain 2.5 times the information as anything he studied for late in the day using the same amount of study time

I think it looks a bit like barfo playing pickup ball without a hat

It looks like Danny Devito's character from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Tomorrow we play "The Frank Reynolds little All Stars "

Would Alexander and Montero be on the bench?
I think a Sixers game at home could be a good opportunity for them to see some playing time

Yeah with Meyers injured one of them will be activated.

I don't know why but this game worries me a little. They always seem to play us tough in Portland. I'm hoping we take care of business early

Their starting lineup is so bad. I don't know quite a bit of their bench guys. It's crazy, ever since we lost four starters and put together a team that's able to make the playoffs, it blows my mind how teams like philly and Minnesota constantly tank and get lottery picks but never improve. I get Embiid is out, looks like Greg oden 2.0 but still. Okafor is a great piece for them but they have nothing going for them. A lottery pick and cap space won't save them for next year. Either way it's looking like a home win, if not then I will go crazy but there is just no way you lose to this team at home.

Minnesota has some good pieces. Had a nice win in DC last night. Some of those Kevin Love teams were .500 they would've been right where we are this season.

The current 6ers squad is a joke. I understand rebuilding but they could've at least signed young free agents with upside. Got to be the worst 3 year run an NBA franchise has ever had. A lot probably will change with Colangelo running the show this summer.

Robert Covington is the 6er thats most impressive. Every time I watch him he's a beast on defense and hitting shots everywhere, making difficult threes. He's a big 3+D guy. I must see all his best games. Ish Smith had a hell of a good run when they first acquired him. The way PG's torch us he could go for 30 and 10.

I'm not sure about the rest of the roster. I've seen this Hollis Thompson name listed as a starter for the last few years and still don't believe it. I think its just an alias for a generic basketball player, like John Doe.

Hopefully this game gets us back in a good rhythm. It's one of those games you love to have on the schedule but if its close half way through you start getting nervous.

Fixed it now. My bad, I didn't realize their stint in the D-League was over.

A 3-33 road team should give us a spark to go 2 games over .500

Dammit, I really wanted to scout Okafor as a potential Myers replacement . Now this is just a low-quality game. Maybe the Andersons should buy my tix . . .

Wow, every post so far laughingly assumes we'll cream them. I guess I'm the only one who remembers that

LAST TIME WE PLAYED THE 76ERS, THEY BLEW US OUT BY 25 POINTS.

We were humiliated by the worst team in the league. We are in no position to act haughty.

Which is why we'll take them seriously. Anybody that takes that team seriously will blow them out.

Plus they don't have Okafor now..

That was a back to back on the road. The Warriors got smoked by the Lakers, those games happen all the time in an 82 game season.

Being rested at home is totally different.

I predict another choke job by Stotts.

We've lost 5 of the last 8 games. The fix is in.

But go Blazers.

Good Lord, that woman needs to do us a favor and NEVER sing the national anthem again. Jesus, that was awful.

I'm really sick of aminu taking threes even when he's open
