Why is Alexander inactive? I could understand DNP but Kaman and Caunaghton are both getting DNPs (and Montero) while Alexander, who's a better player with better potential and who's a PF while Meyers Leonard is unable to play, isn't even an option for Stotts.
I think this has been the greatest disadvantage of our coaching staff, their inability to make the right calls and make adjustments. They are sticking to their plan even when their plan sucks, and their plan sucks because they're sticking to it and show no ability to adjust, no creativity in the decision making.
As a coach you need to react. You're unable to react if you decided your substitution pattern not before the game, monthes before the game. It just doesn't work this way.
I try to avoid being antagonistic but I think if Neil Olshey is one of the best GMs in the league, Stotts is maybe the worst coach. I don't think the players have faith in him, I don't, I don't know how anyone who understand basketball would have faith in him. He is not a coach, not a leader, not a decision maker. I was hoping he could get better but his inability to change is exactly his weakness. I'm hoping we don't rehire him after this season
