That trap led to a key TOV that sealed the win. An occasional, unexpected trap seems to rattle an offensive player more than a steady diet of double teams every time they touch the ball.

Our bench is averaging 27.9 ppg for the season. 28.6 ppg pre all star break, but only 25.4 ppg post all star break.

The good news is we are giving up the least bench points in the league since the all star break, but at 30.7 ppg, our bench is getting outscored by 5 points on a nightly basis.

Well, I will agree with @swish3 on one thing - 3-point shooting will be a big key to tonight's game.

The Blazers two post all star game losses have come against the teams that are 1st and 2nd in post all star OPP 3FG% (HOU at .324 and BOS at .327). It didn't help matters that both of those teams lit up the Blazers from downtown. HOU shot 19-36 3FGs = .528 3FG% and BOS shot 11-18 3FGs = .611 3FG% against us.

NOP is 4th in the league post all star break in OPP 3FG% at .338. The good news is they aren't exactly lighting it up from downtown themselves (.345 post all star 3FG%). They are also 27th in made 3-pointers per game post all star break at 8.4. POR is 10th at 11.5.

Neither Layman nor Baldwin will play unless it's a blowout, or Turner's back acts up. The bench minutes will be split between Bazz, Pat, Turner, Zach and Ed. No need to go more than 10 deep (that's what she said!), unless someone is in foul trouble.
