I went 9 years without watching most of the games because of the TV contract so I never grew a great attachment to Mike and Mike. The style of Kevin and Lamar is different, but I don't get how people are *still* bitching about it 74 games into the season.

for all the complaining people have about mistakes that both of these guys make, it's not like Mike and Mike weren't free of the same kind of mistakes.

Neither Mike nor Mike called Portland Seattle.

They did run a pick and roll with Nurk it's why Jokic was switched onto Lillard.
Portland made a common basketball play that every team would take 10 out of 10 times to end a quarter
You might not like the shot fine, but that is not hero ball.

Question: how good could Mase's scouting have possibly been when the defensive advice was based on an offense that had no legit roll option on the P&R? His advice to scramble at Dame is just leaving a fucking freight train open every time.

Should start Aminu in the second half. I like his matchup vs galinari a lot more than Vonleh. Vonleh can go up against faried with the second unit

To be fair, Mike and Mike were like home town. Like watching the game with you. These guys are like network pukes.

Some of the way that Mike Barrett would call the game did get annoying. How he was buddy buddy with the players and how he seemed overly homerish are just two.

I'm not in the camp that wanted them gone and is glad they're gone. But I am in the camp that is OK with change and allowing Kevin and Lamar to be themselves. As I've said before, I think Kevin would've been better suited for the radio play by play, but they already have Wheels. And on a related note, I do like Wheels with Casey.
