Is this the most pivotal Blazers' regular season game in the past 5 years?

And because fans can chant his 4-syllable name, Nurkic will stay around.
Juwan Howard never got one, so he took his bitch ass ring chasing to MIA for a vet min after saying "F*** the Fans."

The game was won by holding the nuggets to 21 point QT in the 3rd. We also start learning how play with the league and closing teams out. Nurk CJ Aminu huge games. Now I would say we did get the better end on that trade.

If anyone gets a clip of the post game - would love to hear it.

Hopefully the interviewer listens this time though, and doesn't ask a question he already answered.

Well this time it was Nurkic not listening lol. Basically went:
"So how do you prepare for the Houston game"
"When I came here I said we were gonna be in the playoffs, and now we're ahead of Denver so I want to wish them a happy summer"

Love it.

We still have work to do for 8 more games and Houston is next.

Anyone else extremely unimpressed with Jokic? I've watched a few games with him and aside from some isolated plays he's been rather meh.

He's obviously extremely skilled, especially for a guy his size. However, I'm not sure it translates into as big of an effect on winning as a guy like Nurkic. Nurk anchors the paint on both ends. He makes our defense and rebounding better, and he's a threat to get easy baskets on offense if you don't pay close attention to him.

Jokic seems to want to play like a 7 foot guard. He makes a lot of slick plays and piles up stats, but his defense is atrocious and he gives no real paint presence. We see now how vital that is to have.

Jokic is soft

And his assist numbers might be over rated.

Got murdered on the boards tonight.

That whole "Which player will end up being the better player" conversation is hardly at rest.

I'll keep saying it, if your centers biggest strength is passing, congratulations, he's not a center.

Just kidding. But yeah.
