Do you believe the Blazer will overtake the Grizzlies for the 5th seed?

If you told me, "Dame is going to go 3-16 and only have 4 assists, and you'll win by 7" I'd of banned you.

For free.

Underrated Stotts adjustment:

Putting Allen Crabbe on Isiah Thomas at the end, using his length to bother Thomas. I thought that was a pivotal adjustment as Lillard kept getting caught with his hands down. Crabbe was tall enough to alter Thomas's drives and jumpshots without having to constantly close out.

I'd like to see Stotts experiment with this idea more. We often did this with Batum but I think Crabbe actually has more potential to be a nuisance to small guards.

The blazers did a good job of over coming Ken Mauer, and keeping their cool.
When I saw he was the ref when the Celtics were storming back I knew he'd manage the game back to within the spread (POR -3) with a minute left, and then let everything go. Dame had talked to a ref earlier and negotiated a foul on his next drive, which he saved until the end.

Yep we kept talking to them and talking to them....and finally late in the 4th it finally paid off.

This post made me laugh.

Just got back from the game. Great win!

ESPN Highlights -

Great to see the rest of the team step up and help out on the scoring load when CJ and Dame were struggling to score. That was a team win.

I also liked how Aminu completely eliminated Olynyk in the second half.

Hey who's that cbs writer on twitter (grizzlies fan I think)? That dude is so salty about Portland being good he still driving that stupid narrative that the blazers making the playoffs will set them back. Hahaha I love it.

Edit: his twitter handle is hpbasketball.

Dame and CJ are averaging 48.2 ppg in Blazer wins this year. They combined for a season low 29 points against SAC last game (blow out win), and only 31 points tonight.

Although its frustrating to see them struggle to score, it is nice to see the team find other options to score and pull out the wins.

Lets hope that Dame and CJ get into a good shooting rhythm when the playoffs start! If not, it's nice to know others can step up.....

I unfollowed him early in the season. Dude is a douche. Every Blazers-related tweet seemed to have a negative tinge to it, and he'd always downplay us when we went through our good stretches.

Very good win. I was freaking out when we got down double digits and I scared my co-workers yelling at my computer when that blocked shot ended up being a Celtics' 3.

Boston is such a tough matchup for the Blazers. So I am extremely happy tonight.

He's just a salty grizzlies fan who knows the game is passing him and his team by lolol

You guys all ganging up on Tunchi need to take of the Rose tinted glasses for a while.
Lillard has played like utter garbage lately. Poor shot selection, terrible, apathetic defense - ill-advised passing.

Tunchi is telling what he sees - and I see it too.
Dames a great guy, and a great player - but he's not infallible.
He's played his guts out and probably needs a game or two off for rest before the play-offs.
